Client:SWA wants to advertise the new Facilities

Time Allowed: 8 Weeks.

Documented evidence: I will record the evidence in my journals to keep

tracking.




Hello welcome to SWA (Sinarmas World Academy) Where is the school is

21st. SWA is a school that provide Green education and embracing future

for your kids. Our school also give free laptop for to understand moreabout technology .

In this project i have 8 weeks to make SWA advertise for it’s new Facilities.

I’m going to use the design cycle to make the advertisement . In

investigation i need to interview the teachers or the staff about our new facilities. In Design i need to make 3 different advertisement. In planing i

need to make a Gantt chart for my time. In create, i should make the dest

advertisement. In Evaluation i should present my advertisement to

audience and get feedback from them .

Introduction




AOI (Area of interaction)

In this project i need to explain about human ingenuity because i

need to make advertisement for our school new facilities. I need

to choose a appropriate software for this advertisement and i

need to use imagination and creativity to create this

advertisement to attract people to visit our new and improve

school.

2. Should include Students and Teachers? Yes: because of the cooperation and partner ship

in learning

3. What are the thing that we should improve for our facilities? We need more books in

library the A.C is to hot for the students to read.

4. What should we make advertisement? To make class level more higher and the school

need more students

5. What do you think we should add in our advertisement ? Show kid and teacher workingtogether because it show the school good relation with teachers and students.

6. Are the new facility completely successful ? Yes, Students are excited all about the new

facilities (P.E)

Summary

After i made 6 question about the SWA new facilities i need to have the

answer so i find one person name Mr. Glen and interview him. I ask him the

question and he things the advertisement should be at least 30second. He

also thing that we should include student because cooperation and partner

ship in learning. He also thing that the school need to put some AC on the library

and more books as well. He al so thing that we need more students to attract more

people.

Case Study Summary

The designs are great but i thing the first designs is better

because they show a symbol that the students and the

teacher are working together, and they al so show the

actives of what does the school teach to their kid so pick

the first design.

I will use pages to make a brochure. It is easy to use. It has all things to make the brochures. This

application can help me make a brochure for the

school.




Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word has the application to make a piece of

brochure. It is easy to make a brochure because this

application has the same application as Pages.




iWeb

In iWeb I can use effects. Some of the effects can be

used to make my brochure. I can choose the form of my

brochure. I can even show a video. There is a google

map as well to show our school location automatically.




Number

In Number I can use a diagram to show how our school is

changing. The before and after can be shown. It will show

how our school is becoming better.




KeyNote

In Keynote I can make a brochure. It has the tools to

make it more fun. It can be combined with another

brochure as well so they become one.




PowerPoint

Powerpoint is the same thing as Keynote that it can

put a video. But it cannot add another brochure or

change its form .




Environment

In making a brochure, I could affect the environment because I’m

using a computer that uses electricity. In printing it, I need a printer

that uses electricity, paper and ink. These action will affect our

environment.




Society

In making the brochure for SWA, it will help the school by bringing

more people. It is like an advertisement for the school. It is also

can make some competition for another school.

In this term in technology class i’m making a brochure about SWA

new facilities and i’m going to use the design cycle, which is the

step I need to fallow are (investigation, design, plan, create and

Investigation Summary

After interviewing one of the clients Mr.Glen. I got the information that i

need to put in my brochure. He prefer video then a brochure because

video can show detailed and it’s fun to watch as well. But sadly I’m

going to make a brochure

After looking for the right software to make my brochure i choose to use

pages. I choose pages because I thing pages have the best application

there is to make a brochure.

I have told the impact that is going to happen to our environment if i

make a brochure. Because I’m going to waste a lot of paper for mybrochure.

After I created the design specification it’s easier for me to make the

brochure. I decided they thing that i need to for making my brochure for

SWAnew facility.

Design 1: Design 1 is really impressive because it has interesting ways of

showing our school. The picture is related to the facilities.

Design 2: Design 2 has the same thing as Design 1 but Design 2 shows what

we are talking about more easily. I also show what we want to tell the people.

Design 3: Design 3 is the combination of Designs 1 and 2. So it is more

interesting to read.

Design 4: Design 4 is a news letter. My news letter can put a lot of

information. But it looks like there is still a lot of free space yet if I put toomuch information, it can of boring.

Design 5: Design 5 is the same as Design 4 but Design 5 has more free space

than Design 4. Its easier for the guest to understand.

Design 6: Design 6 is for children to understand what we have in our school so

it’s just full of pictures of SWA new facilities.

Evaluation

I make some modification to the original

design because I realized that it my

brochure is to simple and it doesn’t showmuch information just shows the images of

facility. So this time I improve my design

my giving a equal of amount of

information and Images that are related.




Evaluation Of The Plan

Is your plan Smart? I think that my plan is smart because I able to complete the process in time and

Does the plan seem to be in logical steps? My plan is more interested in the

materials and the application that I need to make my brochure. I also make a

gantt so I can see what’s I’m going to do.

Modifications to the design? I made some modification in my original Design. I

change the my brochure

Concluding the Evaluation of my step by step plan? The Evaluation of my step

plan is cealer . It explain each steps in the Gantt Chart

I changed a Few Modifications to the Original Design. I changed the layout color from darkish blue to light greycolor. The Brochure could sometimes not attract people that much due tot he lack of color. It is possible to produce

a good quality brochure with superior layouts, appealing colors, awesome Facilities.




I took photo of SWA New

Facilities. So later I’m going to

put this image in my brochure. The

facilities that i took picture are the

Sport centerSwimming pool and the amazing

park. I also taken picture of my

self taking picture i can proof the

teacher that took picture.
