„‟Swachh Bharat Abhiyan‟‟ is an initiative started by our Hon’ble Prime Minister & the initiative

can only be fruitful with massive participation, self regulation & raising the awareness level among the communities.

With such objective, Tadkeshwar Lignite Project has for the second time taken an initiative to organize a drive

contributing its part in a truly meaningful & significant way of being involved in „Swachhta Abhiyan‟ in its own

premises again.

During the period of 15/5/2016 to 31/5/2016, a massive cleanliness drive was taken up at project premises. Under the

leadership of our G. M. (Project), the entire strength of officers, employees, MRWs, contractors’ employees were divided

into various teams and were allotted various office areas and mine

premises to be cleaned up. Each team was headed by an officer.

The administrative building, RCC road, Gate No: 1 & 2, Contractor’s

camp area, weigh bridge area, Time office complex, canteen &

gardens etc were allotted to various teams. They were informed to

dedicate 3 hrs of the second half time for cleanliness drive of the

project.

The recently constructed new office building in ADM campus was

also cleaned. Record room was also cleaned up and all the records

were kept in suitable location in different racks. The office

complexes and gardens of ADM building were thoroughly cleaned

up during the week of massive cleaning drive. Store, diesel pump

areas were also cleaned.

Overall, every one joined in the drive voluntarily and enthusiastically. Next, in the coming months, we are planning to

undertake massive cleanliness in our core zone village Tadkeshwar where schools, Aanganwadis, Gram-Panchayat office,

Streets, drains will be covered. We are waiting for the for Individual Toilet Blocks construction so that we can make the

“Swachch Bharat Mission” a grand success.

We hope to carry on these works once in a while & contribute our bit towards saving clean & beautiful Mother Earth in its pristine form for

our future generations to come!!
