The event was conducted in three different rounds and a presentation on each round along with a sample

image was given so that photographers have an idea about what they have to click.

The first round got the participants really excited because they had to look for something that is around

us always but just need to notice it, “PATTERNS”. We had given them 30minutes to get a picture that

showcased patterns.

As soon as they were back, their pictures were collected and second around was announced open. They

had to click a picture that conveyed a message but the challenge was they get to click only once, once

the shutter button is pressed they are not allowed to click after that, time given to them was 30minutes

and a volunteer to each participant so that no one breaks the rule of clicking only once. This had put the

photographers under pressure but they managed to get some decent clicks.

After the second round we gave a break for lunch and for us to tabulate the marks gained my

participants. Initially, the organizers decided to eliminate participants from second round but the judge

was curious to know what the photographers have got. And organizers had the objective of giving the

photographers an experience and learning platform especially to the beginners, hence we both together

decided to let all 14 participants into third round.

Third round was about creating a photo story by clicking 3-5photographs and writing it on a sheet of

paper and they were given 1hr to complete this challenge. Stories we received had some or the other

message to convey but Rahul Raj and Raghavendra Desai stood out with their creativity skills.

End of the day we all had a small interaction with participants and the judge, we left the forum open for

any doubts. The winner’s and runner up’s photographs were displayed and given a chance to speak

about it on stage. Participants and judge said they really liked the coordination by the 3 event.
