This ebook is a short recollection of events and results during the period of the 2010

Soccer World cup held in South Africa from June 11 till July 11 2010. 32 countries, 64

games in 10 stadiums across South Africa, making this tournament a first for Africa.

This tournament will be remembered for its African colours, the controversial vuvuzela,

the flags and banners, the spirit of the country, the diversity of the country and its

varying weather conditions during the tournament, all which make this an interesting

and memorable world cup.

Have a fun read through the following pages, as the writing is in limerick format and

makes easy reading.

Bafana and France are on an all time low

A shock defeat Id say for some

Slovenia and the USA drawWhile Algeria hold England to a zero all

A day of surprises which adds to the fun!

The Dutch expectedly beat Japan

Denmark beat Cameroon and show they can

Ghana and the Aussies draw

While Cameroon battle with their game plan!

Paraguay continue to impress

With a win over Slovakia, youd guess

New Zealand shock Italy with a solid draw

Brazil against Ivory Coast they lay down

the law

Brazil top G and show no distress!

21st June 2010

Foul mouthed Anelka is sent home packing

Portugal given Korea a 7 nil smacking

Chile tame the Swiss 1 nil oh shame!

While Spain show Honduras how to play the game

Group 16s coming no time for napping!

Bafana beat France but dont make the grade

Uraguay beat Mexico and both have it made

Nigeria and Korea end in a draw

Argentina and S Korea go through without flaw

Another African team out Im afraid!

The Germans leave them quite dismayed

The bronze medals will go up north

A great event and very well run
