What is Interaction Design?

Objectives

• The objective of the program is to provide students with knowledge, methods, and skills in creation, design, and management of digital products for applications in social services, business management, home, work environment, and industries.

Two Directions In Design

– There are two directions that students can choose :

1. Human - Computer Interactive Systems (HCI), requires pre-knowledge on computer science and programming knowledge. Aiming at creating computer based interactive system (web design, mobile applications, etc. for e-business, e-health, e-learning, e-government).

2. Human – Machine Interactive systems (HMI), requires general knowledge on industry design and using design software tools (like AutoCAD, Pro/E, SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.), or human working environment design - ergonomics. Aiming at design interactive industrial products in people’s everyday and work lives.
