PLEASE READ FULL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION.

1. REMOVE THE ORIGINAL FASCIA FROM THE VEHICLESTEP 1. Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe location and the handbrake is fully applied. If the transmission is automatic, place in reverse (this allows for room to remove the surrounding console trim).

STEP 2. Using a plastic trim remover tool or similar, pry the trim up directly behind the gear selector (as shown) to dislodge the clips. There are four locking clips in total (two on each side). Using the trim removal tool, work around the vehicles surrounding trim to release them all. Use caution to avoid damaging trim or surround. (Refer Figure 1 & 2).

STEP 3. Lift the trim up towards the heater controls until it almost touches and then to the side to gain access to the 12V connectors located on the rear. Remove both connectors by depressing the locking tabs and pulling straight out.

2. REMOVE THE FASCIA AND 12V POWER SOCKETS

DO NOT TRY AND REMOVE THE COMPLETE SOCKET AND COVER AS AN ASSEMBLY

STEP 5. To remove the original fascia from the surrounding trim, remove the four Phillips screws and retain them, as they will be reused. (Refer Figure 4 & 5).

STEP 6. Open the front cover of the 12v outlet, then using a small blade screwdriver while applying slight pressure to the back, gently pry the two locking tabs away from the metal surface to remove the socket completely from the cover. (Refer Figure 6 & 7).

3. REFITTING 12V POWER SOCKETSSTEP 9. Insert front cover of the 12V power socket to the fascia, ensuring they locate with the indentation of the switch fascia and lock into place. (Refer Figure 13 & 14).

STEP 10. Fit the main body of the socket through the front cover, first ensuring correct alignment as it will only fit in one orientation. Push into place until it locks in position, repeat process for the second accessory outlet. (Refer Figure 15 & 16).

STEP 11. Refit the two white plastic retaining clips to each end of the new switch fascia, so they click into place.

NOTE: Switches can be fitted to the fascia after it is installed, however it is recommended to fit switches before final installation.

STEP 13. Reconnect the two original 12V connectors to the back of the power sockets. (Refer Figure 17 & 18).

STEP 14. For the Z71 model with the OEM heater switches, remove the switch adaptors that are in the two lower switch locations by depressing their locking tabs on the back of the fascia. Then refit OEM heater switches into the new switch fascia by first aligning the locating lug to the corresponding groove in the switch fascia, then reconnect the two connectors. (Refer Figure 19).

NOTE: For Holden Colorado models that do not have OEM heater switches, two switch adaptors are provided for use with OEM style 70 series horizontal Toyota switches (switches not included - available as an optional accessory).

STEP 15. Align the two rear white clips on the back of the fascia against the locating points on the main console, then slowly lower into place ensuring all locating clips align in their respective mounting locations. (Refer Figure 20).
