MEET SHELLEY CRAFT, CRAFT & QUILT FAIR AMBASSADOR ON WEDNESDAY MORNING AT THE FAIR!

10am Stitch Me Pretty Presentation/Demonstration with mannequin and models. Miss Chrissy takes you through a ‘Make Do and Mend’ presentation and demonstration. With her wealth of knowledge on early 20th century style, you will learn how simple crafty ways can embellish and style a very plain outfit and turn it into a fabulous chic new outfit using this mentality from yesteryear.

12noon Truly, Madly, Stylish Presentation/Demonstration with mannequin and models. Miss Chrissy takes you through a ‘Show and Tell’ format where she reveals clever ways women of the past ‘made do and mended’ to keep up with the Jones’. These are tips we can use today to change the mindset with our disposable, often short-lived fashion trends.

2pm Up Close and Personal with Miss Chrissy. Learn about The Lindy Charm School for Girls – what they do, how they came about and how important their message is for ladies and gentlemen today, particularly when it comes to grooming, manners, etiquette, charm and poise. Also learn about the importance of undergarments and the nip-and-tucking required for off-the-rack purchases today.

Convention Centre Jetty in Darling Harbour – located outside the Cyren Restaurant in Harbourside Shopping Centre. • Ferry departs every 20 minutes. Trip

takes about 10 minutes.

Circular Quay, Wharf 6. • Ferry departs every hour, on the hour.

Trip takes about 30 minutes.

Board the complimentary bus to the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Glebe Island from Central Station or Darling Harbour.

Central Station, Country Trains bus terminal, Bay 13 on Eddy Avenue in Sydney CBD. • Bus departs every 30 minutes. Trip takes

about 25 minutes.

Murray Street bus stop, near the Maritime Museum, Darling Harbour – corner of Murray St and Union St, opposite Pyrmont Bridge Hotel. • Bus departs every 30 minutes. Trip takes

about 15 minutes.

Buses will drop off and pick up visitors from the bus stop located outside Hall 1.

Discounted car park rates will be available at the Harbourside Carpark at Darling Harbour. From here, catch a FREE bus or ferry to the Sydney Exhibition Centre.

• Location: Harbourside Car Park, 100 Murray St, Pyrmont

• Special Rate: $15 per day

For this special parking rate: Take a normal ticket at the car park. At the fair obtain a discount car park ticket from the Help Desk at the fair entrance. Before returning to your car, go to the car park Pay Station and insert your original ticket, then the discount ticket and payment. If paying at the gate, only credit cards are accepted.

Paid parking is available at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, Glebe Island.

• The address for Car Park 1 (P1) is 41 James Craig Road, Rozelle – entry and exit is via James Craig Road

• A drop off point is located within the Car Park 1, outside Hall 3

• Car Park 2 (P2) is on Sommerville Road, Rozelle. Signage will direct visitors to this carpark when it is in operation

• A free shuttle bus will transport visitors between P2 Car Park and the entry to the fair, and will return visitors when leaving

• Car Park rates: Entry before 12noon $35; entry after 12noon $20.
