TICKETING SYSTEM

There are 4 ticketing options when catching public transport in Sydney ..

When choosing a ticket, commuters need to consider:

• Mode of transport – where are you travelling to and from• The distance you are travelling• How often do you need to travel

MYBUS

The myBus ticket is used for travel on Sydney buses only.

There are different types of tickets depending on how far you are travelling:

• myBus1 – travelling between 1-2 sections• myBus2 – travelling between 3-5 sections• myBus3 – travelling 6+ sections

Bus stops and route maps are marked with section numbers to help commuters determine which ticket to buy.

MYBUS

Commuters can buy a single myBus ticket or a TravelTen ticket:

• the single ticket is validated for a single journey• the TravelTen ticket can be used for 10 single trips • a TravelTen ticket can be validated more than once on a journey if you are travelling

more sections than the ticket allows.

There are concession tickets available.

MYFERRY

The myFerry ticket is used for travel on Sydney ferries only.

There are different types of tickets depending on how far you are travelling:

• myFerry1 – travelling between 0-9km• myFerry2 – travelling over 9km

Commuters can buy a single myFerry ticket or a TravelTen ticket:

• the single ticket is validated for a single journey• the TravelTen ticket can be used for 10 single trips

There are concession tickets available.

MYTRAIN

The myTrain ticket is used for travel on Sydney trains only.

There are different types of tickets depending on how far you are travelling:

• myTrain1 – travelling between 0-10km• myTrain2 – travelling between 10-20kms• myTrain3 – travelling between 20-35kms• myTrain4 – travelling between 35-65kms• myTrain5 – travelling over 65kms

The myMulti ticket is used for travel on Sydney trains, buses and ferries.

There are different types of tickets depending on how far you are travelling:

• myMulti1 – bound by Bondi Junction, Chatswood, Croydon, Canterbury, Bardwell Park, Rockdale, CityRail stations and unlimited government and private bus, light rail and government ferry travel.

• myMulti2 – bound by Hornsby, Carlingford, Seven Hills, Liverpool, Holsworthy, Engadine, Caringbah CityRail stations and unlimited government and private bus, light rail and government ferry travel.

MYMULTI

The myMulti ticket is used for travel on Sydney trains, buses and ferries.

There are different types of tickets depending on how far you are travelling:

• myMulti3 – unlimited train travel across entire CityRail network and unlimited government and private bus, light rail and government ferry travel.

• myMultiDayPass – unlimited train travel across entire CityRail network, unlimited government and private bus, unlimited government ferry travel and unlimited light rail travel.

There is no TravelTen available for myMulti, only weekly tickets or day pass.
