Conclusions

1. Phosphoproteomics identified CK2 as a negative regulator of beige fat development.

2. Genetic and pharmacological inhibition of CK2 induced “browning” of white fat in vivoinduced browning of white fat in vivo.

1. Pharmacological inhibition of CK2 increased gwhole body energy expenditure and decreased body weight gain.
