Synventive offers complete solutions for its customers throughout the world. This means that, in addition to the actual hot runner, mould and process control components, support services can be provided at every stage of the project in question, from the initial idea, through planning and preparatory stages, to production.
The guiding principle throughout is global presence with local service. Local sales offices and agents are in a position to provide on-the-spot service - in the spirit of a complete solution.
Wherever plastic products are injection moulded and controlled melt feed into the mould is required there is a market for Synventive products. The wide range of Synventive hot runner components covers all applications, from small gear wheels up to passenger car bumpers, from contact lens containers to instrument panels.

The history of Synventive Molding Solutions began in 1971 in Europe and 1978 in the USA with the companies Eurotool and Kona developing separately to become successful hot runner manufacturers in their respective regions and markets.
In `s-Gravendeel, the Netherlands, Toni van den Brink founded Eurotool B.V. in 1971 to manufacture, amongst other things, injection moulds for the plastics industry.
The experience in the toolmaking field and the rise of hot runner technology gave the impetus to set up a division for hot runner products, including temperature controllers. This division became Eurotool's main business, bringing out numerous innovations and being particularly successful in the German market. The German branch was founded in Bensheim in 1983, with Rainer Vorköper as General Manager, who remained in this position until 2004.
The founder, van den Brink, retired from the company in 1998. The Dynisco Group in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, became the new owner in 1997, having acquired many companies in the plastics processing field since 1953, including, in 1991, the hot runner specialists, Kona, in Manchester By The Sea, Massachusetts, USA.
Kona was founded in 1978 by Richard Devellian, Paul Swenson, Cam Stewart and Bob Eldridge.
Their starting point for hot runner techniques was a space technology invention that solved a thermal problem in non-rotating satellites: the side turned towards the sun became very hot while the opposite side became very cold. An energy-saving solution was provided by heat pipes, containing a heat transport fluid that evaporated on the hot side and condensed on the cold side, leading to a uniform temperature within the satellite.
Kona was awarded a patent in the USA for the temperature control of hot runner nozzles and manifolds.
A three-year cooperation led not only to an American European merger in the hot runner field but also to a new name: under the umbrella of the Dynisco Group, Kona and Eurotool merged in 1998 to form Dynisco Hot Runners - now a global manufacturer of hot runner systems with sales offices and agents around the world.
In 2000, the Dynisco Group was sold off by its owners. The sale included the Dynisco brand name but not the hot runner division. Dynisco Hot Runners emerged from this as an independent company, for which a new name had to be found within one year.
In 2001 Dynisco HotRunners changed its name to Synventive - a combination of the words "synergy“ and "inventive“. Synventive provides hot runner and moulding solutions to more than 3000 customers world-wide.

Nozzle ranges in 6 different sizes with flow bores from 3.5 to 22 mm, in various nozzle types and as single or manifold nozzles, make it possible to implement a very wide range of applications.
Available in standard shapes - I, H, X, Y - and in any realisable custom shape, the ranges of manifolds, with flow bores of 12 to 22 mm, cover all possible injection configurations and mould concepts.
Valve technology to control the melt flow has long been established in the form of valve gate nozzles. In addition, Synventive supplies Dynamic Feed, the innovative, real-time, on-line, high-speed regulation of the melt pressure in each cavity.
To customer specification or Synventive standard, Synventive hot runner systems are available pre-wired and pre-piped. All relevant connections - electrical, thermocouple, hydraulic, pneumatic, coolant - are brought out to the connection box and/or connection plate with appropriate connectors.
In the form of hot halves, the pre-stage of a complete half of a mould, hot runner systems are supplied completely mounted in mould plates, pre-wired, pre-piped if required and fully adjusted.
The product range is completed by temperature controllers, available in various configurations for different numbers of control zones.
