U5-U10 In town
• Coaches Responsibilities– Work through Age Group Coordinator– Contact information – Emergency list always– Set example for SYS• Zero tolerance on Misconduct/Bad Behavior / Bullying
– Fair Competition/Work with Opposing Coach– Make certain every child is picked up before you go home!– Bad Weather
• Thunder and Lightning (at first sound or sight off the field, can not return until 30 minutes after last sound or sight!)

• Ball Size:– 3 for U5, U6, U7, U8
• Games:– 2 sides for U5, U6, U7, U8
• Players: – 3 for U5, U6– 4 for U7, U8
• Length of Game:– 4 quarters for U5, U6, U7, U8
• Out of Bounds:– New Ball for U5, U6– Throw in and corner kicks for U7, U8
• Substitutions:– Anytime for U5, U6, – Announce to Referee for U7, U8

• Distribute Parent’s Code of Conduct at FIRST Practice
• Keep Parents on end lines behind goals for mini games and opposite side of players for in-town games
• Players• ½ Game per player• Be there at least 15 minutes early

• Fitness• Decision making• Commitment• Team work• Leadership• Fair play• Pushing oneself beyond comfortable bounds/artificial limits• Stress responsibility (water / ball / shirts tucked in)

• U7 and below• Dribble: all sides of feet, out of trouble, past someone• Soft first touch

Equipment
• Players– NO Jewelry, Casts, Hair Beads, or Splints– Knee/Elbow Pads must have protective padding– Shin guards are a must– Cleats are highly recommended

• Move the Goals for Practice!• Field Closings are posted on the website• Field Status– Updated by 3pm weekday– Updated by 7am weekends
