The Nervous System

• Composed of the brain, spinal cord, and nerves.

• These organs enable you to sense the world around you, to form thoughts and memories, and to control your body movements and many internal functions.


The Nervous System

• Central nervous system (CNS)

• Peripheral nervous system (PNS)

nerves and ganglia

• Nervous system maintains body stability, or homeostasis
