VarioLine® TO

The VarioLine® wall outlet program from LEONI Datacom

allows copper and fiber optic systems (fiber-to-the-desk)

to be terminated at the workplace. VarioLine® is stable and

easy to install.

The modular copper connection systems ELine™ PREMIUM

and ELine™ NOVUM, all systems with keystone dimensions

and all usual FO adapters can be integrated.

The wall outlet program is available in different colours and

is compatible with usual switch programs complying with

different national standards.

VarioLine® CP

VarioLine® CP stands for the modular, universal consolida-

tion point (CP) programme from LEONI Datacom.

VarioLine® CPs offer an efficient, reasonably priced soluti-

on for designing highly flexible floor cabling or cabling for

computer centres or industry. The necessary floor outlets

complete the system.

The consolidation point (CP) programme is an efficient, re-

asonably priced solution for designing highly flexible floor

cabling or cabling for computer centres or industry.

In office cabling (EN 50173-2), consolidation points (CPs)

between floor distributor (FD) and telecommunication out-

let (TO) offer extremely flexible cabling solutions for rapidly

changing office configurations. The CP can be installed in

raised floors, inserted ceilings, columns or ducts. From the-

re, flexible cables (CP cables) lead to the data outlets at the

workplace.

The CP cabling connects the permanent cabling with mo-

dular or mobile office systems such as partitions or office

furniture into which the TO is already installed. In industrial

cabling, a so-called intermediate distributor (ID) is used to

connect the floor distributor (FD) with the telecommunica-

tion outlet (TO) which for example allows temporary machi-

ne cablings (EN 50173-3).

In computer centres, CPs as local distribution points (LDP)

can provide an additional patching option between zone

distributor (ZD) and equipment outlet (EO) (EN50173-5).

The robust VarioLine® CPs are made of zinc-plated sheet

steel and are available in three sizes for 6, 12 and 24 channels.

The modular structure ensures that most Cu and FO systems

VarioLine® CPare suitable for universal use. Six different module panels

are currently available for the VarioLine® CP housings, i.e.

If necessary, the VarioLine® CP programme can be expan-

ded by using additional module panels for Cu as well as FO

systems.

The easy snap-in installation of the cover on the floor or

zone distributor side makes troublesome screwing and the

use of special tools unnecessary. The patch side is covered

by a hinged cover with a strip brush as dust protection. The

incoming cables and the patch cables can be held by cable

ties. The housings can be earthed if necessary.

The CP cables pass through the raised floor via the neces-

sary floor outlets which are installed in the base plate. Va-

rioLine® CP floor outlets can be closed flush with the floor

when they are not required and are set upright to pass

cables through. The cover then also protects the cables as

they come out.
