PROPPING

The Acrow prop is the most common prop used in the construction industry and domestic markets today. Its massive popularity comes down to the fact that it is the simplest, quickest and most reliable and economic method of temporary support. Available in 5 different sizes it is perfectly suited for both small unique and large commercial applications.

MULTI PROPS

Similar to the Slabprop the Multi Prop is also an aluminium extendible prop which comes in four different sizes. Its aluminium design makes for a longer life cycle compared to the traditional steel tube props like the Acrow Prop. Similar to the

SLAB PROPSThe Slabprop is an aluminium light weight prop which is both sturdy and has exceptional safety characteristics. Its high load capacity makes it’s suitable for most reshoring and formwork applications and casting of slabs. The Slab Prop comes in four different sizes and ranges in capacity depending on the extended height.

The best prop for each application is chosen based on the load, heights and specific applications.

Within this range of props we stock two different versions of props and are fully interchangeable. The variance in capacities is due to the different section profile used. Version 1.0 has a more rounded profile whereas Version 2.0 has a more square profile.

NOTES:1. Loads at the highest, mid-point and lowest height have been determined by testing in accordance with

Australian Standards AS3610-1995 “Formwork for Concrete” and all other permissible loads indicated between the tests loads have been interpolated linearly.

2. The table above has allowed for a maximum “out of plumbness” of H/200 in accordance with AS3610

3. All imposed loads onto the props are assumed to be concentrically applied to the centre of the prop. Eccentrically loaded props will require down grading of the specified permissible load above.

4. The loads above assume that the props are configured with the outer tube at the base of the prop.

ALU-UP2 The ALU-UP2 prop is a good alternative option to the traditionally used steel shoring systems used in the construction industry. They weigh less than half the steel prop but offer double the capacity. This enables less propping to be used and therefore saves labour handling expenses as well.

The telescopic ability of these props means that they can be adjusted to within millimetres of the desired height by simply rotating the ring nut. Connection braces can also be fitted to the props to provide stability.

The best prop for each application is chosen based on the load capacity, height required and the specific applications.

30T PROPCassaform’s 30t Prop is a heavy duty structural propping and shoring system specifically suited to the building and civil infrastructure industries.

The 30t Prop is a modular system which provides a custom solution for almost any application on building sites. It is assembled using different components connected together to achieve the desired height or length required. Refer to the Height/ Component Chart opposite for details.

Despite its high load-bearing capacities it is so versatile that it can be easily assembled in difficult access locations. This flexibility is achieved with the use of standard componentry and accessories which includes:

• Standard Section -2000mm, 1000mm, 500mm, 250mm and 125mm • Screws jacks, • Racking heads, • Needle beam fixing clamps and • Transfer fixing plates.

All these components have been manufactured and sized to allow manual handling where necessary and can be assembled into a wide variety of towers and truss designs to suit almost any application.

The Cassaform 30t Prop has a safe axial capacity of 30 tonnes and is used extensively in the civil and building industries where a range of vertical, horizontal and raking applications are necessary, across large and small scale projects. For example, bridge and roof supports, slab back propping, façade retention, falsework, & formwork or raking and needling applications.
