Dear Jr. C.D.A. Members,

Christmas is over and Easter is

around the corner. In preparation

for Easter, we have the Season of

Lent beginning with Ash Wednesday.

During Lent, please prepare yourself

well for Easter by praying extra

prayers and devotions, attending

daily Mass, giving up some things

you like such as candy and sweets.

Also do extra good things for people

by works of charity and kindness.

When Easter arrives, you will be

spiritually prepared to rejoice in the

Resurrection of Our Lord.

A Message from your State Officers:

Dear Sisters,

We can’t believe our term is almost at its end.

We’ve had such an amazing time meeting new

people, providing service to others, and growing

in our faith. We had our Latte’s for Learning

project in December and thanks to the

contributions of your court, we were able to have

a successful visit to Brownsville, TX. Words can’t

begin to describe the positive changes you’ve

made in the kid’s lives. In addition, we had our

service-learning project in January at the

Georgetown Annunciation Maternity Home

where we met up with the Round Rock court

who shared a helping-hand. We love seeing you

girls participate with our state projects.

Convention is right around the corner, and we

couldn’t be more excited! We’ve got a lot of fun

activities planned for Corpus Christi and can’t

wait to see you there! We hope each and every

one of you girls aspires to take on the challenge

to hold an office position. This experience is one

that no one wants to miss out on!

Seniors, you’re about to graduate! We hope you

continue on to college and join a CDA campus

court! Make sure to send your information to us

so that we can make sure that opportunity will

be available to you.
