Idea Generation

The ideas I have for designing my t-shirts are to make them look like the ones celebrities wear. For example, some celebrities are photographed wearing t-shirts that stick in people’s minds because they are different/unique. I have chosen to use One Direction as my main focus as I like the types of t-shirts they wear. These designs are a good idea because they are simple and if you are not a fan of One Direction then you will not know that the t-shirts represent them. I do not want my t-shirts to look like typical fan ones which are obvious to everyone whether they are a fan of the band or not. I would like them to represent the band but in a way that still looks fashionable.

I also had the idea to use their tattoos as patterns for the t-shirts. For example, use one of their tattoos and put it in the centre of a white t-shirt because their tattoos look like something you would see on clothing.

The content of my designs for the t-shirt(s) are not very complicated. They do not have too much going on and can be worn by both males and females.

Audience

The designs for my t-shirt(s) are aimed at an audience of teenage males and females as the designs look unisex. They could also be aimed at one direction fans because the designs are taken from the band’s tattoos although you cannot tell that they are related.
