CURRENT AFFAIRS’ BLOG COMMENT WINNER

I think that Ikea did a good job in trying to save the environment by not giving out anymore free plastic bags. Plastic bags can harm the environment when they are burned as chemicals will be absorbed into the environment and takes a long time to decompose. Other stores that give out free plastic bags should stop and follow Ikea’s good example. I think that although people like free things, we should not take it for granted and think about what might happen to the environment by these plastic bags. People should get used that nothing is free in this world and start helping to conserve things so that they do not disappear like the extinct animals.

Plastic bag are harmful to the environment as it needs hundreds of trees to make plastic bags. Using our own reusable bag it helps to save more tree from being cut down.IKEA had stop giving out free plastic bags as I think they has the same ideas as me. Let’s do our best and stop global warming!!!
