Current Sizing Approach

• SAP defines the sizing methodology for the BI accelerator solution

• Customer evaluates the potential infocubes to be indexed: see SAP Note 917803. Works on BI 3.5 systems as well• SAP Note 917803 explains how to calculate the memory consumption using

report ZZ_BIAMEMCONSUMPTION_BW3X► We recommend to use the report option “P_DETAIL” to get the more precise result

for sizing► Result of report x 2 (GB) / Amount of Memory on Blade (GB) = Number of Blades

• Not all infocubes in BI backend will be indexed, day to day standardqueries should be satisfied with standard aggregate processing
