Learning goal/competencies After following the clinical clerks students can carry out patient examinations and medical records, be able to manage simple oral surgery cases including: tooth extraction, dentoalveolar fracture, control evaluation of cases of pre / post simple oral surgery, and management of referral cases as indicated independently with full of empathy and in accordance with medical ethics and law
Content Actions of patient examination and medical record filling, extraction of anterior and posterior teeth with closed method,
open method tooth extraction, preprostetic surgery (simple alveolectomy), simple odontectomy, management of dentoalveolar trauma cases, management of jaw trauma cases, management of post-odontectomy evaluation, evaluation post-treatment for odontogen infection cases, post-evaluation evaluation of trauma cases of dento alveolar and jaw bone, post-surgical evaluation of tumor-neoplasia cases, management of referral cases as indicated independently with empathy and in accordance with medical ethics and law

C.2. PROBLEM ANALYSIS The fair percentage of students who failed in final examination may indicate that they have difficulty in connecting cognitive skill and clinical problems. C.3. SOLUTIVE STRATEGY
• To improve student clinical assessment, we design case-based discussions session and increase the duration time of chair side teaching.
• Students failing final examination are given a special coaching session before remedial.
