Table of Content – Chosen ImagesThese are the images that are used in my table of content, and I have decided to use these in particular for the fact that, as my model is also featured on the front cover, I wanted to also add images in her photo shoot and therefore would follow and consistent theme.

Table of Content - Chosen ImagesI chose this image because I think that it clearly represents the genre of music that I have chosen that is R&B and Hip-Hip music. The connotations of this genre is usually hoodies, headphones and in a recording studio, in which this image clearly portrays. The colours purple, black and white also represent the colour of R&B and Hip-Hop. The fact that my model here is looking outwards can represent the fact that she is dreaming of a rich and glamorous lifestyle. I also like the fact that she is looking outwards because it also represents the image of Sofia who is in my Double Page Spread, who also looks out and doesn’t give eye-contact. My model is in the background and the technical equipment which is usually there in a recording studio is effective seeing as it represents my chosen genre and style of music.

Table of Content – Chosen ImagesI had chosen this image because I think that it complements my music magazine front cover. I wanted to use this image because it looks similar to the one of the front cover and because many other music magazines do the same thing and therefore this is conventional. Another reason why I have chosen this image is because of the fact that the background is clear and makes the image look 3 dimensional. This image was taken at the end of the alleyway of which my front cover image was taken. I think that the lighting is effective because it represents the saying, ‘there is light at the end of the tunnel’ in which is a famous saying that many artists express when they become famous. The image of my model uses direct eye-contact with the audience and therefore seems more personal and that can relate to my target audience of people aged 16 – 24.

Table of Content – Chosen ImagesI had chosen this image for my table of content because it is the same photo that is used in my double page spread. The reason for this is because seeing as it is featured within my music magazine, it would make sense to put it on my contents page. This is because my target audience will know what will be expected and featured within my music magazine. Seeing as a table of content is what shows information that will be featured inside the magazine I tried to go with the conventional way and initiate the same effect. I had placed this image on the top right hand side of the page because she is looking outwards and therefore would make sense for my model to do the same.
