At Darnel we believe our products should improve the quality of life of our customers and have a positive impact and the smallest posible footprint on

the environment.

We understand each of our products lifecycle throughout the different stages of production: from the stage of eco-efficient design to the minimal use of resources and energy; efficient use of packaging and appropriate transportation; all without neglecting the proper disposal of products so

that they may be reused by recycling.

We are at the forefront of technology and develop 100% recyclable products, with the highest worldwide quality standards.

Darnel we consume 30-40% less energy than other processes and with advanced technologies we achieved energy savings of nearly 80% in

some processes.

Our products are highly hygienic, helping to prevent the spread of viruses and contamination diseases. For their production we use gases that do not

deplete the ozone layer.

Our products require fewer natural resources, less raw material and occupy a smaller volume. We optimize our final packaging to make less use of

cardboard boxes.

Our disposable products are manufactured with materials suitable for food contact or products for human consumption. All resins used in the manufacture of DARNEL – TAMI products meet the strictest FDA

requirements (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for food applications. Darnel foam products are certified as CFC gas free (do not

deplete ozone layer).

Stretch Films

These films are ideal for packaging meats, produce, fish, baked goods and more. The properties of these films allow for easy transfer of both CO2 and O2, while at the same time protecting foods from contamination and therefore extending the shelf life of products. These films are also manufactured with excellent memory to make sure that when packages are poked or manipulated at store level the presentation is maintained intact.

General Purpose Films

Our general purpose film are available in a variety of sizes to accommodate any tray size. These films can be used for packaging from meats and poultry to produce. Darnel films are ideal for supermarkets where repackaging is necessary. These films have excellent adherence ensuring a tight package to avoid leakage.

High Resistance Films

High resistance films are ideal for the packaging of irregular objects where a sturdier film is necessary to avoid tearing. These are great for large poultry parts, bone-in meats, and large vegetables. High resistance films are also excellent choices for automatic packers.

Printed Films

We offer the possibility of printing. The film rolls are printed Darnel Wrap and then rewinds and repackedto ensure the product works perfectly on your machine. We print in small quantities to provide small businesses the option to brand their products. Use these films for brand recall with your logo, or to add additional information.

Automatic Packaging Films

We offer a wide variety of films for automatic packaging. Darnel Wrap films are available in different thicknesses allowing easy operation in automatic packaging machines. Our research and development department is constantly developing new alternatives for most innovative machinery market.

Special Films and Micro-perforated

Additional to our standard films, we have developed special references for packaging specific products. Darnel offers a green color film to give a more attractive aspect to vegetables, differentiating from other films used in the supermarket.

Also we developed a micro-perforated film special for mushrooms, it has an ideal breathability for food that needs perspiration because it allows an optimal gas exchange. Unlike large perforations, this film allows an easy water evaporation, without pollution that can be generated with large perforations.

Printed Films

We offer in house printing capabilities. Our rolls are printed and then rewound and refinished to make sure than the end product runs smoothly on your automatic machine. We will print small runs to make it easier for a small business to brand their products. Use these films for product logos as well as security.

Darnel PVC films shrink very quickly in tunnel machines or even with hand blowers making them eco-friendly in their efficient use of energy. Preferential shrink films are ideal for narrow long products, where you need less shrinkage in the machine direction than the transverse.

Low Shrink Films

Low shrinkage films are ideal for packaging lightweight flat products that can bend easily during shrinkage, such as magazines. These films will fit just right on your products to enhance their presentation. Use these films for: paper doilies, magazines, paper plates, catalogs and printed materials.

Preferential Shrink Films

Darnel Films are offered with preferential shrinkage of irregularly sized products. These are ideal for packaging long products such as gift wrap rolls where you need to apply a different percentage of shrinkage vertically than horizontaly. Use these films for: wine bottles, drawer liners, posters, vase and other irregular objects. Standard offerings include 40% x 40%, 10% x 10%. Other shrink percentage options available upon request as a special order.

Polyolefin Shrink Films

The Darnel Shrink Poliolefin film is a film of high strength and excellent sealing. Ideal for promotional packaging or disparate items together. Darnel Shrink Films offer excellent presentation and great resistance.

Micro-perforated Film

Darnel´s Micro-perforated Film is a high respiration film. Ideal for food that requires transpiration, allowing an optimum gas exchange. This special micro-perforated technology guarantees its high mechanical strength. Darnel Micro-perforated Film is designed specifically for food contact.

Antifog Film

Ideal for the packaging of fresh products. This film contains a very effective mix of fast migrating antifog agents, resulting in an excellent and very quick antifog activity maintain good looking packages through all distribution steps.

Darnel Shrink P5 AF Antifog Polyolefin Shrink Film is newly developed shrink film ideal for the packaging of fresh produce such us fruits and vegetables, other fresh and frozen food packaging requiring refrigeration, maintaining their quality. Packaging of these products usually takes place at room temperature, and the storage of the packaged goods in a refrigerator results in the appearance of water droplets on the surface of the film, making the content of the package no longer visible. Darnel Shrink P5 AF contains a very effective mix of fast migrating antifog agents, resulting in an excellent and very quick antifog activity maintain good looking packages through all distribution steps. Darnel Film also provides protection and hygiene for consumers.
