TAC User Guide – TAC Request/Event Approver

Getting Started: You will need to have a JetNet/AA login to use the TAC Management application.

You will need to request access to TAC Management – without access you will get an error. To request access - Click on "How do I Request Access" link – right mid-top of the TAC landing page https://tac.aa.com/tac/#/home and follow instructions or click here to request access.

There are two level of access: o Requestor o Approver – to be given approver access your level in outlook will need to be a 5 or above.

Once you have access, you can get to the TAC Management from the Landing page, by clicking on the Log in link on the top right of the

page.

Or directly by entering https://tac.aa.com/tac_enu/ in a browser (chrome or IE).

TAC Request Approval The employee number entered as the approver of the TAC Request will receive an email. The email will have a link to the TAC Request List.

The link in the email, will display the My Pending Approvals page. It will require that you log in.

Note: Not receiving the email doesn’t mean you can’t go directly to the page to approve the request.

If you are unable to access the link, go directly to TAC Management. From My Page tab, click on “View TAC Request Functions” and then “TACs for My

Approval” link.

Click on the Approval Code link, scroll down and on bottom right of the form, you can either Approve or Reject the request.

Reject

If the request is rejected, a Reject Reason must be selected from the drop down.

View STA/BRA Details

This will display total charges for the Station/Branch that is being charged for this TAC Approval.

Click the button to go back to the previous page.

When the request is acted upon, an email is sent to the requestor, a message popup is displayed, and the Status of the request will be changed to either

approved or rejected.

Click and then , this will display the list of approved requests - “My Approved Request”.

TAC Event Approval The employee number entered as the approver of the TAC Event Request will receive an email. The email will have a link to the TAC Event List – Approval.

The Level 5 approver will receive an email notifying them that an Event has been submitted.

The link in the email, will display the TAC Event Approval page. It will require that you log in.

Note: Not receiving the email doesn’t mean you can’t go directly to the app and approve the event.

From the TAC Event Details page to view travel requested go to the TAC Travel Details tab. On the top right of the form, you will click on either the

or the TAC travel for the Event.

If the travel is rejected, Reject Reason is required.

Else, if the Reject Reason field is blank, the following error will be displayed..

The requestor will receive an email stating that the Event approval has been acted upon.

TAC Overbook Approval Once the Event has been approved, the MD assigned to the Divisional Cart entered for overbooking approval will receive an email. The email will have a link to TAC Event List – Overbook Approval.

The link in the email, will display the TAC Overbook Approval page. It will require that you log in.

Note: Not receiving the email doesn’t mean you can’t go directly to the app and approve the overbook request.

If there is an issue with the link, go directly to TAC Management. From My Page tab, click on the “TAC Event Overbook Approval l” link.

On the top right of the form, you will click on either the or the overbooking approval for travel of the Event.

If rejected the request, Reject Reason is required.

Else, if the Reject Reason field is blank, the following error will be displayed.

TAC On Behalf of Facilitator Approvers may designate other individuals to approve on their behalf. From My Page tab, select “TAC on Behalf of Facilitator” link.

Click on the button; this will add a new line to add an employee as facilitator on your behalf.

Click on the icon to the right of the field to do a search or enter an 8 digit employee number. (add leading zeros if necessary)

Note: To cancel, hit the [Esc] key on the keyboard.

Adding the employee number will pre-populate the other fields.
