Value Awards Medcroft Class: I am so proud of all of Medcroft this week who have really taken home learning in their stride and produced some great quality work. It is really hard for me to choose who to give a certificate too as so many of the Reception children have just excelled in what has been required of them. I think a highlight of my week was looking at all the amazing water filters everyone managed to make. I decided that this week's value of Curiosity is awarded to Tilly G who has not only conducted some amazing Science experiments, she has presently them beautifully for us too. A huge well done, Tilly and to everyone in Medcroft. I look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday. Nethercote Class: What an interesting week we have had in Nethercote learning from home! Miss Ilott and I have been so pleased with the work you have produced, and how engaged you have all been on the Google Classroom. It has made it all so enjoyable and we are immensely proud of you all! With that in mind, we simply cannot choose a single child for a Learning Power because in our opinion, you have all had to use all 3 in order to have such a successful transition over to home learning! Well done everyone! Harborne Class: This week in celebration assembly we celebrated Independence. The children shared some of their Maths addition and subtraction fluency posters which they had completed independently. Our Values certificate for Responsibility this week went to Edith T, I have been so impressed with your ‘can-do’ attitude and accountability towards learning your weekly spellings through morning work. Well done! Rousham Class: This week Rousham celebrated our poetry work. We have been writing observational poetry and learning how to make the ordinary extraordinary! We took photos around a theme and then wrote poems about them and created pastel paintings of the sky and wrote poems that included metaphors. I was super impressed with the quality of work the children produced. This week’s value certificate is awarded to Selina K for taking such good ‘Responsibility’ for her learning. She always tries her best and works hard but I have been particularly impressed with her attitude to Maths this week. Keep it up Selina!
