SURAH SURAH AL-AN-’AMAL-AN-’AM6: 68 -74 6: 68 -74 GUARDING ‘AQEEDAH ‘ IN SOCIAL INTERACTION

"THE BEST AMONGST YOU IS ONE "THE BEST AMONGST YOU IS ONE WHO LEARNS THE QUR'AN AND WHO LEARNS THE QUR'AN AND

WHO TEACHES IT"-WHO TEACHES IT"-

“Now then, for that (reason), call (them to the Faith), and

stand steadfast as thou art commanded nor follow thou

their vain desires; but say: "I believe in the Book which

Allah has sent down; and I am commanded to judge justly

between you. Allah is Our Lord and your Lord. For us (is

the responsibility for) Our deeds, and for you for your

deeds. There is no contention between us and you. Allah

will bring us together, and to Him is (Our) final goal.”

(Qur’an: ash-Shura: 42: 15)


And say: "Work (righteousness): soon will Allah observe your And say: "Work (righteousness): soon will Allah observe your

SURAH AL-AN-’AM : 6 : 68-74

“It is [people such as] these that shall be held in pledge for the

wrong they have done; for them there is [in the life to come] a

draught of burning despair and grievous suffering awaits them

because of their persistent refusal to acknowledge the truth.”

(Qur’an: An-’am: 6: 70)




““SAY: "Shall we invoke, instead of Allah, something that can SAY: "Shall we invoke, instead of Allah, something that can

neither benefit us nor harm us, and [thus] turn around on neither benefit us nor harm us, and [thus] turn around on

our heels after Allah has guided us aright? -like one whom our heels after Allah has guided us aright? -like one whom

them] are indeed bereft of all hope of a life to come - just as those them] are indeed bereft of all hope of a life to come - just as those

deniers of the truth are bereft of all hope of [ever again seeing] deniers of the truth are bereft of all hope of [ever again seeing]

“Pursue, then, the right course, as thou hast been bidden [by

Allah], together with all who, with thee, have turned unto

Him; and let none of you behave in an overweening

(transgress) manner: for, verily, He sees all that you do.

And do not incline towards, nor rely upon, those who are

bent on evildoing lest the fire [of the hereafter] touch you:

for [then] you would have none to protect you from Allah,

nor would you ever be succoured [by Him].”

(Qur’an: Hud: 11: 112-113)

Not of those who are astray and Not of those who are astray and

who lead people astray.who lead people astray.


O Allah! Guide us all O Allah! Guide us all

with Your Guidance.with Your Guidance.


And make us people who hasten And make us people who hasten

towards what pleases You.towards what pleases You.


And do not let us be protected (by others) except only And do not let us be protected (by others) except only

with Your Protection (as our Guardian).with Your Protection (as our Guardian).


And do not make us to be of those who differ from Your And do not make us to be of those who differ from Your

And sufficient is Allah for us, And sufficient is Allah for us,
