To our Parents/Guardians,

Thank you for your active involvement in the education and life development of your children and their peers. I am glad for this monthly opportunity to share with you some information about our school life.

1. Good News a) A number of our students achieved good results in the 2015 International Competitions and

Assessments for Schools (ICAS): (1) 3H Tam Lorraine Sze Wing achieved High Distinction in English; (2) 1K Li Heung Yi Mary and 3H Nie Zichun achieved Distinction in Mathematics; (3) Students who attained Credit in English: 5T Tong Ka Wing. (4) Students who attained Credit in Maths: 3H Chan Chun Ting and Jiang Yuxin; 4T Deng

Ranfei, 5T Fan Hui and Deng Xuetong. (5) Students who attained Credit in Science: 3H Ng King Wang, 2H Ouyang Shaoming. (6) 2D Chan Lok Yi and 3H Jiang Yuxin achieved Merit in English and Science respectively.

c) The school choir participated in the 67th

Hong Kong Schools Music Festival and received a Certificate of Proficiency in the Church Music Foreign Language Secondary School Choir (Age 14 or under).

d) 4H Wong Ho Yiu participated in a nationwide Linguistic Knowledge Competition 2014-15 and won Third Prize in the on-site writing competition organized by China Youth Language and Culture Association.

e) 5T Fan Hui received a Silver Honor in the HKMO Open and AIMO Open (Trial and Final Round) organized by the Hong Kong Mathematical Olympiad Association. 5T Deng Xuetong, Lau Ying Ying, Liao Wenbin received the Bronze Award in the first round.

2. Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) for S3 June 23 and 24 (Tuesday, Wednesday) have been reserved for Secondary 3 TSA. Students of these classes need to be in school by 8:05am as usual. The schedule is laid out in the table below.

3. Early Start of Academic Year for S6 Students To provide S6 students with more time to prepare for the public exam, the new academic year will start on August 17, 2015. Parents please remind your children to attend classes according to schedule. Following our practice in normal school days, students who need to apply for sick or family-matter leave must present relevant documents for school’s approval. Please check the attached timetable for details.

4. School Bus Service In the new academic year, the school will continue to provide school bus service for students from North District. Students who are interested in this service can go to the Accounts Office and make enquiries. Seats are limited and priority will be given to current users of the service.

5. Report on Fund Raising With fervent support from parents, the fundraiser for the Hong Kong Macau Conference of Seventh Day Adventists (HKMCSDA) has been completed. Since this drive incurred no operational expense, the entire proceeds (totaling HK$15,694.10) will go directly to the HKMCSDA to help with the social services that it provides. We are deeply grateful to you all for your kindness and generosity towards those in our community who are in need.

6. Early Collection of Registration Fees

As the present academic year is coming to an end, the school will collect registration fees for the

new academic year of 2015-2016 through auto-pay on August 3, 2015 (Monday). Please check the

attached circular for details.

7. Post-Examination Activities and Summer Activities

The school has arranged a variety of post-examination activities, tutorial classes and summer

activities from June 23 to August 31. Please refer to the table attached to this circular.

8. S1-S5 Re-examination and S1-S3 revision class

Students who cannot meet the academic requirements must sit for re-examinations on July 23 and

24. Also, re-examination students from S1 to S3 must attend special revision classes to be

scheduled between July 15 and 22. Students need to re-take exams for Chinese, English,

Mathematics and Liberal Studies, depending on which subject they failed. The school will evaluate

each student’s overall performance in the revision class and examination before deciding whether

he or she can be promoted or needs to repeat the same form. If these students are absent from the

special classes or re-examination, they will be considered as having opted to stay in the same level

or as wishing to withdraw from the school.

9. Promotion of Summer Activities

The following organizations will come to our school to promote their summer programmes on the

dates below. Students can freely opt to participate in their programmes:

Youth Hearts Camp by Eternal Flame Action (July 3), targeting S4 students.

2. 【中三級全港性系統評估】6 月 23-24 日(星期二、三)上午為中三級全港性系統評估，各中三同學必須按平日上課時間上午 8:05前回校。考試詳情如下：

若該兩天遇上熱帶氣旋警告、持續大雨、雷暴或暴雨警告需要停課，評估則順延至 6 月 26日(星期五)進行。

3. 【中五升中六提早開學】為了讓升中六的學生有更充裕的時間準備公開考試，校方將安排中五升中六的同學提早於 8月 17日（星期一）開學，懇請家長幫忙提醒及督促貴子弟依時回校上課。一切缺席請假(事假及病假)必須按照正式上課手續及程序作出申請，並經由校方批核後才可銷假，有關提早開學的上課時間及須注意事項，請詳見附頁。敬希垂注！

4. 【校巴服務】本校於下學年度會繼續提供往返學校與北區的校巴服務，同學如有需要可向會計部查詢並索取有關通告。舊生優先，額滿即止。

5. 【校內籌款報告】承蒙家長支持，基督復臨安息日會港澳區會的善工運動籌款活動已圓滿結束。是次籌款並不需要扣除任何開支費用，故所有籌得的款項（港幣$15,694.10）將全數撥入港澳區會作社會服務之用。在此謹代表受惠人士感謝大家熱心的捐助！

6. 【留位費】學期快將結束，本校將於 8月 3日(星期一)以自動轉賬方式收取 2015-2016年度註冊費，詳情請參閱附頁通告。

7. 【試後活動及 6-8月行事曆】由 6月 23日至 7月 10日學校將進行各項試後活動、暑期補課及其他暑期活動，詳情請參閱後頁表格。

8. 【中一至中五補考及中一至中三特別溫習班】凡成績未達升班標準者，必須參加 7月 23-24日的補考（補考科目：凡中文、英文、數學、通識任何一科不及格，便須補考該科。）中一至中三未達標者更必須參加 7月 15-22日舉行的特別溫習班。校方將按學生的溫習表現及補考成績安排學生試升或留班，無故缺席特別溫習班及補考者將作自願放棄學位論。

9. 【暑期活動推廣】路德會賽馬會富善中心已於 5月 19、21日來校，向全校學生推廣暑期活動；另薪火行動機構將於 7月 3日來校，向中四級學生宣傳暑期活動「青苗營」。以上機構與本校或本校同工並無任何商業往來，學生可自由報名參加。

S1-S6 School Charges

Regarding the Application for Auto-Transfer of the Payment of Registration Fees and Extra Curricular

Fees:

1. For the current S1 to S5 students, the registration fee for the next academic year is $650 (S1-S2), $605(S3-S4), $500(S5), $716(S6). All students, whether they are respectively promoted or not, must settle the payment, which includes the first month (September) tuition fee for the academic year 2015/2016. Any adjustment will be made to the tuition fee of October 2015. Kindly refer to the table below for more details. Please note that the registration fee is non-refundable even in the case of withdrawal from school.

2. The registration fee must be paid. For those who are not eligible for yearly promotion, the fee will

be used for the class they are in.

3. Please deposit the registration fee amount into your bank account before 3 August 2015 so as to

avoid service charges from the bank due to unsuccessful transfer. The service charge is according

to the policy of individual banks.

4. Starting from October 2015, the payment of tuition fees will be deducted automatically from your

bank account on the 4th

day of each month. If this day is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, the

transfer will be made on the next working day. Please ensure that there is sufficient amount in the

bank account to avoid an additional service charge from the bank. The charge varies in amount

from bank to bank.

5. Activity fees will also be charged via auto-transfer. You will be notified of the due date and also the

exact amount.

6. For students who are in the process of withdrawing from the school and requiring the refund of the

registration fee, please complete the application for withdrawal from the school at the general

office before 18 August 2015, then visit the Accounts Office with the receipt of the registration fee.

中一至中六收費通告

有關收取註冊費（自動轉賬）事宜及其他注意事項

1. 現時就讀中一至中五的學生，新學年的註冊費為每位 HK$650(中一及中二) ，HK$605(中

三及中四)，HK$500(中五)及 HK$716(中六)，不論升級或留級學生，其預繳的費用將繳

交新學年 2015年 9月份的學費，詳情請參閱下表。如有不足或多繳之款項，將會在 10

月份學費內調整。繳交了註冊費而未能在本校就讀之學生，所繳之費用，恕不退回。

敬希垂注!

2. 為了統一全級收費，學生必須預繳升級的註冊費；若未能升級者，其預繳之費用

將改為原級的註冊費。

3. 請家長在 2015年 8月 3日前把註冊費存入銀行戶口內，以便轉賬。如款項不足，而未能

成功轉賬，銀行將會向家長戶口收取手續費，金額按個別銀行而定。

4. 由10月份開始，每月之學費將以銀行自動轉賬之方式收取，於每月4 號過數，如該月

4 號適逢星期六、日或公眾假期，便順延至下一個工作日。為免未能成功轉賬，致令銀

行方面向閣下收取手續費用（金額按個別銀行而定），請家長於指定日期前存放足夠款

項在户口內。

5. 活動費均以自動轉賬形式收取，屆時將另行發通告予家長，說明轉賬日期及金額。

6. 現時就讀本校的學生，如需退學並要求退回註冊費者，必須在 2015年 8月 18日前到校

務處辦妥退學手續，然後攜同註冊費收據正本到會計部辦理。
