TajSATS Bangalore commenced catering to KLM Royal Dutch

Airlines,theflagcarrierairlineoftheNetherlandson31stOctober

2019. KLM operates 787-900 aircrafts with tri weekly services

between Bangalore and Amsterdam. Ms. Beatriz Palavox

Valenzuela,Mr.AdVisbeenandMr.RuudPaapfromKLMjoined

the Bangalore team for a smooth kickstart. A cake cutting

ceremony was organized on-board the inaugural flight by the

TajSATSteam.Mr.VishalChauhan,GeneralManager,Bangalore

andtheflightcrewgracedtheoccasion.

TajSATS Bangalore commenced catering to

Ethiopian Airlines on 27th October. Ethiopian

Airlines operates four weekly flights from

Bangalore to Addis Abiba. A cake cutting

ceremony was held on-board to mark the

beginning of the association between TajSATS

BangaloreandEthiopianAirlines.

TajSATS Mumbai begins catering to Delta

Airlines December2019I

Delta Airlines, the premier airline from United States

commenced its India operations once again connecting

MumbaiandNewYorkbyoperatingadailyflightbetween

thetwomajorcommercialcapitals.Theflightoperatingwith

B-777-200ERAircraftservesthreemealstoallitspassengers

andcrewonthislonghaulflight.

The TajSATS Operations team presented the cake to

thecrew.Mr.HirokiYamasaki,CateringRegionalManager

and Mr. Gabriel Palchik, Manager International Menu

DevelopmentandStrategyfromDeltacameforthestart-up

operations.

TajSATS won the finals in all the categories of the Table Tennis

tournament. In the Skit compe��on, TajSATS performed on the

theme“Overusageofthemobilephoneandit’silleffects”.Thestory

washighlightedthroughmythologicalcharacters.Alltheactorswere

highlyapplaudedandTajSATSwonthefirstplace.

AspartofTataVolunteeringWeek,alltheunitsofTajSATSinthenationwidecampaign“SwachhataHiSeva”2019.TajSATS,

ChennaipaidtributetotheFatherofourNationon2ndOctoberbycollecting,segregatingandupcycling/recyclingthe

waste.TheChennaiunitplannedmanyactivitiesthatincludedcleanlinessdrives,re-useactivitiesandAwarenesssessions

onPlastic.

The volunteers of TajSATSMumbai visited Passpoli Upper PrimaryMahanagar PalikaMarathi School at Powai and

volunteeredinaclean-updriveandawarenessactivity.Treeswerealsoplantedbytheteamintheschooltopromotethe

messageofGreenEnvironmentisCleanEnvironment.

TajSATS,Delhiconductedanawarenessdriveonplasticpollutionataschoolin

the community. The team visited the school with banners and posters

depictingthemenaceofsingleuseplastic.Apresentationwasmadeonthe

adverseeffectsofplasticontheenvironmenttoover200schoolchildrenand

theteachers.

InTajSATS,Bangalore,anawarenessrallywasorganizedwherealltheplastic

wastefromtheairportpremiseswascollectedanddisposedproperly.Over

16kgofplasticwastewascollectedbytheassociates.Aftertherally,every

associatewasgivenaclothbagtopromotethemessage.

Thefunctiontocommemoratethe37thFoundationdaywasheldon

30thNovemberattheDelhiunit.Inhisinauguralspeech,Mr.Shashi

Sinhaexpressedhisstrongbeliefintheabilityanddeterminationofthe

work force of the unit. This year's long service award ceremony

honoured84associates.Theawardfunctionwasfollowedbyamusical

eveningandagaladinner.

AirlinesBerhad.

The Halal Training Basic Module was

conductedfor39staffandHalalTraining

– Intermediate Module for 16 senior

staff to cover the “Halal Concept in

Totality” (HACIT), including the

Malaysian Airlines Berhad Halal

Standards.TheAuditoralsoconducted

anaudit intheunittochecktheHalal

andHygieneComplianceandwashighly

impressed by the systems and

procedures followed at the Unit. He

participatedinthetrainingandwerecertifiedonthesuccessfulcompletionofthecourse
