Mrs Manasi Bidkar was speaking at the programme organized by Women’s Cell of Bharati

Vidyapeeth (Deemed To Be) College of Engineering, Pune on 31st August 2018 for their girl

students and female employees. This programme was organized on “Government schemes for

women entrepreneur “

Speaking ahead she elaborated about the characteristics of women entrepreneur. In her speech

she gave the contribution of women entrepreneur in India. She explained about how to get the

direct and indirect financial support for the business. She has thrown light on different policies

made for women entrepreneur like Stree Shakti Package by SBI, Entrepreneurship Development

Federation of Indian Women Entrepreneurs (FIWE), and Self Employed Women’s Association

(SEWA). During her talk she also explained about the domestic agencies which are available to

help women for setting up the business like Ministry of Small Scale Industries (SSI),

Government of India, National Bank for Agriculture Rural Development (NABARD)-,

Department of Women and Child Development (WCD), Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

etc. Speaking about the subsidies for women, she said there are different types subsidies for

women entrepreneur. She illustrated about the importance of all types of subsidies and their

benefits.

She said that, to run a successful business, quality of product, innovations and marketing strategy

are very much important.

She concluded her session with a message for audience “Yes you can”. Women can be

entrepreneurs with their own skills and abilities. They can run this world with their own power

and intelligence.
