No. II(2)/CTR/77/2017.—In exercise of the powers conferredby clause (b) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of theIndian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899), theGovernor of Tamil Nadu hereby provides for the consolidationof duty of Rs. 4,20,00,000/- (Rupees Four Crore and TwentyLakhs only) chargeable under the said Act in respect of issueof policies by Life Insurance Corporation of India,Chennai-2, throughout its branches in the State of Tamil Nadufor the period from 1st January 2017 to 31st March 2017.

No. II(2)/HWMP/ 78/2017.—The Governor of Tamil Naduhaving satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below

have to be acquired for Highways Purpose, to wit for theformation of Road Over Bridge at Km 1/8 of Hasthampatty-Cherry road in lieu of existing L.C.No.184 at railwayKm 190/300-400 between Salem Market and Salem TownRailway Station in Salem District, Salem Taluk, Kumarasamipatti,Periyeri and Salem Town Villages and it having already beendecided that the entire amount of compensation to be awardedfor the lands is to be paid out of the funds controlled ormanaged by the Divisional Engineer (Projects), HighwaysDepartment after having considered the cause shown by theowner (or) other person having interest on such lands as thecase may be do hereby Publish the following notice undersub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act,2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil NaduHighways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002) the Governorof Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the Ryot Manai lands specifiedin the Schedule below measuring to an extent of 0.5217.5Sqmts to the same, a little more or less needed for theformation of Road Over Bridge at Km 1/8 of Hasthampatty-Cherry road in lieu of existing L.C.No.184 at railway Km 190/300-400 between Salem Market and Salem Town RailwayStation in Salem District, Salem Taluk, Kumarasamipatti, Periyeriand Salem Town Villages

The plan of the lands is kept in the office of the DistrictCollector, Salem and may be inspected at any time during officehours.
