VacFlush™
An automated vacuum flushing system that does not require hazardous man entry into the tank. The VacFlush™ system uses a vacuum pump to draw storm water into a flushing chamber, the flushing water is held in place by a diaphragm valve. At the end of a storm event, the storm water is rapidly released, cleaning the tank floor. Low capital costs along with minimal operational costs make it the ideal solution for large storm tank flushing requirements.
Applications • Circular Storm Tanks – up to 65m diameter • Rectangular Storm Tanks – up to 150m in length • Sewer Networks – up to 250m in length
Tipping Buckets
Tipping Buckets are a simple cost effective solution for flushing smaller rectangular tanks and ideal for retrofit applications. The stainless steel bucket is installed between two walls of the storm tank on a bearing assembly, when filled with clean water the buckets centre of gravity shifts and the contents spill to clean the tank. Suitable for rectangular tanks up to 50m long, depend-ing on available head & fall. Applications • Rectangular Storm Tanks • In conjunction with Static Screens to assist with screen cleaning • CSO’s, Wet Wells, Pumping Stations

Flushing Gates
Flushing Gates are a useful flushing tool for large rectangular open tanks where the available head is limited. (We do not rec-ommend gates for use in enclosed underground tanks for health and safety reasons). The gates are mounted in the bottom of the tank and operated by a hydraulic power pack. Clean or storm water is stored behind the gate, once the tank is empty the contents are released to flush the tank. The flush is effective even on long tanks. Applications
• Rectangular tanks up to and in excess of 100m long
Pivoting Jet Cleaners
Pivoting Jet Cleaners are a simple, cost effective means of cleaning storm water storage tanks and are ideal for retrofit applications. The pivoting jet cleaner is a compact unit, fixed to the floor of the tank, and consists of a waste water sub-mersible pump and a multi-turn actuator, which allows the jet to turn. Air is added to the water stream and this mixture of water and air is then propelled horizontally over the bottom of the tank at high velocity, providing effective cleaning to the bottom of the tank.
