To Rehabilitate adult and juvenile Ex-Offenders
To Create and Foster cohesive relationships with the Community, Police and other Relevant Law Enforcement Agencies.
To Create Opportunities for Ex-Offenders to make Alternative Career Choices as opposed to relying on the drug trade or other illegal means of support.
To Create an Infrastructure for Ex-Offenders, with an aim to facilitate their Safe Re-entry into the working community.
To Foster and Develop working relationships with members of the Community, Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations, with a mutual interest in Rehabilitation at the level of Sharing Information, Giving Inspiration and Encouragement and Creating Working Opportunities for Ex-offenders.
To be The Launch Pad for other Initiatives which would Showcase the efforts of Ex-Offenders who have a desire to change their odious behavioural patterns.
To Give Individuals, Companies and Organisations Opportunities to assist in tangible ways in the Rehabilitation of adult and juvenile Ex-offenders.
In keeping with Hope Transplant Ministry’sVision "To be a Ministry committed to improving thelives of the individuals in the communities in which weoperate", we present this proposal as one of the toolsthat we believe would enable us to reach our targetedaudience and fulfill our Goals.
The Turn Around Project [TAP] is established toencourage persons from all areas of the society to play apart in the Rehabilitation of the Ex-offenders amongus.
To be an Offender is punishable according to those Lawsand Regulations that Govern our judicial system. Wecan ALL agree to this, due process in keeping Law andOrder in our Community.
HOWEVER, being an Ex-offender means that one hasalready served his or her sentence for crimes committedand one should NOT have to suffer eternally at thehands of society being considered a reject, and then tobe discarded as one who is invaluable to society or thenation as a whole.
Let us be mindful that ….
To Err is Human - To Forgive is Divine …
and to RESTORE HOPE is our Goal.
Since 1999 and even before then, Reverend Michael Steelehas been working with the “Boys from the blocks” and theGhetto Areas – This has prompted the establishment of HopeTransplant Ministries.
