Target Audience

Lana Del Rey – Gods and Monsters

We are aiming at a target young female audience of around 16-25. This is because it fits in with the star that we will be creating. Our star is a young women who people can relate to in the Indie Genre.

They will be similar to that of Florence Welch, Kate Nash and Lana Del Rey herself.

Lifestyle of our Audience

Indie: Those who do not conform to mainstream Fashion, TV, Music and Film trends.

Vintage: Fashions sense will be more retro and they will prefer second hand items of clothing that have some background to them.

We have chose to style our target audience in this way because it is conventional of the genre and its60’s style songs full of visual shotsand colour.

Gaining a Fanbase

Popular stars such as Lady GaGa, Katy Perry and Justin Bieber have a huge fanbase. So large that they’re actually given names like ‘Little Monsters’, ‘KittyKats’ and ‘Beliebers’

It proves a little harder to get such a huge fanbase with an indie band and it has rarely been done so we’re going to aim to change this with our star

This will probably require a lot of social media advertising as that is where most of our youthful target audience will regularly be.
