Target Audience Age: 15-30 Gender: Unisex Why did I choose this range of ages? The film is rated 15 and so this allows people of the age of 15 and above to be able to watch the opening sequence. The majority of people who enjoy watching horror films are in their 20s as they enjoy watching films which have excitement and makes their adrenaline pump faster. People who are over the age of 30 don’t watch Horror films as much as the people under 30 which is why we targeted people ranging from 15-30. People of any gender enjoy horror films which is why we did not focus on one specific gender. This would have resulted in the audience, who would be mixed gender, having mixed opinions due to the film being targeted at one gender. This also allows us to maximise the profits as it won’t cut out a huge portion of the audience who will watch the film. The Film is directed at people of any Ethnic background as we felt that by targeting our film at only one race would result in the popularity of the film decreasing. Why did I choose this range of ages?

The film is rated 15 and so this allows people of the age of 15 and above to be able to watch the opening sequence. People of any gender enjoy horror films which is why we did not focus on one specific gender. This would have resulted in the audience, who would be mixed gender, having mixed opinions due to the film being targeted at one gender.
