Target Audience Profile The age of my audience is 16-18, as that is the age of sixth form students. My audience could be male or female, and is in full time education. They would be a fun, kind and caring person who enjoys having a laugh with their friends. My target audience could be interested in a range of things, from football to reading. They could have many hobbies, including sports, fashion, music, hanging out with friends and shopping. They are interested in their education as they realise that education is the key to their chosen career, and they are dedicated to their work. They take time to revise and make sure that they get their homework done on time. They value school a lot and you could say they enjoy it! As my target audience is a teenager, there are a number of needs they would have, and I will attempt to meet these through my magazine. In my magazine I would have a page dedicated to important dates/deadlines that students need to remember, such as coursework deadlines, exam dates, trip days, etc. This would help my readers keep on top of their work, and it would also make them want to read the magazine more. I would also fulfill their needs by creating an agony aunt page. This would be where one of the older sixth formers would be able to give advice and tips

Target Audience Profile

The age of my audience is 16-18, as that is the age of sixth form students.

This would be where one of the older sixth formers would be able to give advice and tips to anyone who emails her and asks for help. This is increasing the reader’s social interaction, while helping them to solve any problems they may have. Furthermore, I would also have a jokes/ quizzes/ games/ competitions page which will give the readers some time to relax after a long day at school, but it could also help them achieve self-actualization if they win one of our competitions. This will also heighten their self-esteem and happiness.

They will use this magazine to get tips on how to revise, and complete their homework/coursework on time. They will also use this magazine as a way to help them keep up to date with relevant school issues. Furthermore, the magazine will become a friend and guide to the reader, and help them through daily sixth form life, while also being pleasant and humorous.
