Stereotypical audience profile for the RnB genre

• Gender- Male and Female• Age- 16-21• Social class- working class• Ethnicity- White British• Interests- street dance, going to concerts, partying.• Dress sense- funky, shorts, long socks, t-shirts. • Why they listen to RnB music?- they listen to it

because they enjoy the beats and it shows their young youth and express their personalities.

• How often do they listen to music?- very frequently and it can be a way to help them relax and have fun socialising with friends.

• What they would like in magazines- interviews with artists/ bands, latest song/ album releases, concerts and other event dates, latest news and gossip, current trend.

My Target Audience Profile

Graffiti wall represents young youth and shows my target audiences personalities and also the vibrant colours represent happy lives.

The hoop earrings show she is young and represents the trendy fashion. Has a cool, funky appearance.

Attends many concerts and is very passionate about the RnB genre. Helps her to relax and enjoy.

In a music magazine would like to see females with attitude represented positively rather then seductively. Also would like the latest news, trends, gigs, very bold and bright colours.

Likes the urban trends and keep up with the latest styles.

Likes going out with friends and uses social networking sites to keep in contact with people.

Likes magazines such as VIBE and Billboard.
