PROFESSIONAL INGROUND LED PROJECTOR

KEPLERO is the new revolutionary exterior in-ground light fixture available in ZOOM and GIMBAL versions. The innovative “Zoom” version that can emit four different beams just by moving the optical chamber inside, and a low power, high performance “Gimbal” version with defined beams from super spot to flood. One body, two technological hearts that totally revolutionise the concept of the “up –light”.

HIGH PERFORMANCE Keplero not only stands out because of its extreme versatility but also for its high performance. This is because it uses state of the art Citizen LED light sources and has a low internal operating temperature.

CUSTOMISED DRIVER The electronic driver can be installed in most countries because it works at voltages between 110 and 240V. Cabling is also simple using IP68 loop in/ loop out connectors. DALI version can be supplied on request.

GUARANTEED PROTECTION KEPLERO is one of the few products on the market in this sector to comply with all IP66, IP67 and IP68 protection requirements with a power output of up to 32W. The IP66 code ensures that is it protected from powerful jets of water such as street cleaning. IP67 guarantees that it is protected from the rain and IP68* means that is it totally protected against flooding. Maximum water resistance is guaranteed by a series of special technical features. In the upper part the glass has a special seal that, together with the ring, isolates and waterproofs the fixture’s optical unit. The lower part is fitted with a resinate cable equipped with an IP68 connector to link to the driver positioned under the fixture. The driver module, developed by Targetti in close collaboration with Techno, is integrated into an IP68 waterproof junction box.

* In line with International standard IEC 364-7-702 the IP68 rated KEPLERO projectors can withstand temporary accidental immersion to a depth of 1.3 metres but are unsuitable for permanent underwater installation.

PVC CASING The PVC casing makes installation easy. It can be ordered in advance and thanks to the cover provided, it can be put in place without any risk of concrete seeping into it. When the fixture is installed the cover can be removed easily, leaving the casing completely clean.

DOUBLE INSTALLATION Keplero installation is also versatile. Both versions are the same size and combine with an Ax316 brushed stainless steel ring for flush installation. For semi-flush installation the insertion collar can be removed from the PVC casing to change the overall effect.

Keplero guarantees maximum safety. It also meets all requirements regarding vehicle and pedestrian use as well as glass temperature.

THE REVOLUTION OF LIGHT IN MOTION The perfect strength and staticity of an in-ground fixture contrasts with the dynamism of a unique optical system that can create numerous light effects. With Keplero the light effect can change at any time even after installation; the revolutionary patent pending optical system has three degrees of freedom and can be configured in different ways. Extraction, transfer and rotation are the three movements possible with the Keplero optical chamber, each of which is guided by graded rings which help to identify the orientation of the light beam when installing more than one fixture.

FOCUSING

The four step extraction process makes it possible to modify the beam aperture from spot, flood, medium wide flood and wide flood. Every step is guided and identifies a different beam aperture.

AIMING

Slider makes it possible to zoom the light emission in or out creating a beam orientation of up to 20°. This movement, for lighting vertical surfaces, makes it possible to decide where to attach the light and set the desired intensity.

ROTATION

Rotation makes it possible to rotate the beam parallel to the surface to follow any element irrespective of its shape and position. The locking system guides ever y movement ensures the beam aim remains constant.

LIGHT FOR LANDSCAPE KEPLERO light just like nature is continuously evolving. Keplero is perfect to light trees even those that have just been planted. At first the effect is concentrated on highlighting the trunk; the tree grows, shoots appear and the optical system takes on a new configuration where the beam opens and lights up the canopy. Nothing can escape the Keplero light that can be adjusted and changed depending on requirements. There are also no harmful UV or IR rays.

LIGHT FOR ARCHITECTURE KEPLERO is distinct because of its ability to change; with Keplero it is possible to change the scenography of a building. It can scan the facade with a light or light it in a soft, ethereal way , all with the same optical system. Its uniqueness means that this can be done without changing any of the components. You just need to decide and move the optical unit to create the desired effect.

Its high performance and installation flexibility combined with an adjustable optical unit up to 40° with aim locking system make it highly versatile and reliable. The light emission can be customised further by adding various accessories.

With just 11W the Gimbal version is a real projector with an adjustable optical unit of up to 40° for maximum flexibility. It is fitted with a special ad hoc LED board made up of 4 chips with acr ylic lenses which enhance light emission. The optical system makes it possible to have defined and precise beams with three different beam angles.

The 7° beam Super spot version and 30° beam flood versions come with round or rectangular sections. The Keplero Gimbal will surprise you with its high performance and beam clarity; given that it can light surfaces as far as 30 metres away like building facades, church towers and sculptures it can be called a real professional projector.

ACCESSORIES Keplero can be fitted with different accessories to customise light emission. All accessories are added inside the fixture; this means that it is not necessary to modify the appearance of the product, avoids the risk of dirt accumulation and above all does not create a dangerous obstacle for public lighting installations.

DRIVE OVER AND WALK OVER SOLUTIONS

ICARE meets all the requirements of standard EN 60598-2-13 regarding vehicle and pedestrian use and are therefore ideal for lighting all the areas provided for by the regulations, such as car parks, pedestrian zones and other designated areas. Heat is dissipated via the ring or thermal filter thus reducing glass temperature by 30% and making also 70W discharge versions suitable for traffic and pedestrian areas according to EN 60598-2-13. Versions that do not comply with the above mentioned standard in terms of temperature do however pass torsion and static load tests required by the same.

FLUSH INSTALLATION

A special insertion collar can be used for flush installation of finish ring. This is the ideal solution for illuminating walkways or pedestrian areas where maximum integration is required between luminaire and pavement.

IP68 In line with International standard IEC 364-7-702 the IP68 rated PHENIX projectors can withstand temporary accidental immersion to a depth of 1.3 metres but are unsuitable for permanent underwater installation.

Lens temperatures (T°) for all the luminaires in the PHENIX range, measured according to European standard EN 60598-2-13 , are listed in the table on page 215.

DRIVE OVER AND WALK OVER SOLUTIONS

PHENIX meets all the requirements of standard EN 60598-2-13. regarding vehicle and pedestrian use and are therefore ideal for lighting all the areas provided for by the regulations, such as car parks, pedestrian zones and other designated areas. Heat is dissipated via the ring or thermal filter thus reducing glass temperature by 30% and making also 35W discharge versions suitable for traffic and pedestrian areas according to EN 60598-2-13. Versions that do not comply with the above mentioned standard in terms of temperature do however pass torsion and static load tests required by the same.

UNIQUE PROJECT, UNIQUE LIGHTING

The grazing light effect produced by TITANO can be projected in a number of different ways. A 106° horizontal aperture allows the light to be projected in one or two directions and a 62° horizontal aperture allows the light to be projected in several directions. The vertical angle is controlled by the lens to produce a glare-free effect which is highly effective on horizontal surfaces.

The entire STILO range is characterised by titanium coloured, painted extruded aluminium across the entire range of installations, effects and power supplies that is able to meet any application and lighting need. Wall-mounted, ceiling mounted and bollard versions can create a myriad of lighting effects, from purely graphic and defined to a wider, deeper beam.

The same design for a range of products that covers very different professional segments. From architectural lighting of building facades and porticos to lighting pedestrian paths. Different needs and different effects united in harmonious uniformity across the range.

PROFESSIONAL WALL-MOUNTED, CEILING- MOUNTED AND BOLLARD LED FIxTURE

STILO WALL


The wall mounted versions have the same body for two different types of installation: FLAT (parallel to the wall) and STRAIGHT (perpendicular to the wall), both are available in mono and bi-emission versions. All come with a watertight driver installed inside the body, already equipped for a secure connection thanks to the IP68 connector. The different optical systems are fitted with LED board or COB LED according to the different lighting effects. Available with different power supplies, 9W, 10W, 22W and 33W.Both the FLAT and the STRAIGHT versions are equipped with a 316 grade stainless steel bracket which makes it possible to adapt the emission to the installation surface precisely. This is thanks to the particular slots in the bracket that make it possible to adjust the light to a 4° angle parallel to the surface and a tilt it up to a maximum of 8°. Everything is secured by an aiming locking system.

THE FLAT VERSIOn

The versions to be installed parallel to the wall are available with six different lighting effects: Elliptical, Asymmetrical, Super -spot and three graphic effects, Pin, 30° and 60°.

THE STRAIGHT VERSIOn

The straight versions are perfect to install on small surfaces such as between two windows or two pilasters, to light large vertical surfaces with soft beams or super-spot effects.

The ceiling mounted versions are ideal to light porticos: the different optics make it possible to obtain different effects depending on lighting needs. To light vertical walls or pedestrian areas. many solutions for many effects.

ELLIPTIca L EmISSIOn

The elliptical optic for 22 and 33W power sources makes it possible to light the entire breadth of pedestrian paths homogeneously . Installing the fixture at a height of 4 metres and placing the fixtures 4 metres apart ensures excellent uniformity.

aSymm ETr Ic Em ISSIOn

When combining wall lighting with lighting pedestrian paths or illuminating it in depth the asymmetrical optic is the ideal solution.

Su PEr- SPOT

For high up installations the super-spot optic is more suitable because it gives a more controlled, high performance beam with just an 9W power source. a blade filter can be added to this high contrast type of optic to create a continuous effect on the entire pedestrian path. c oncentrated in width yet very uniform in length.

ACCESSORIES

All the optic accessories are mounted on the outside of the fixture and can be used simultaneously to a maximum of two thanks to which the effects of the STILO range can be multiplied. As well as the optic accessories there are the installation accessories for special installations on poles or corners.

Thanks to the wide range of applications together with the different optics and power supplies, STILO is able to meet any project needs with precision and efficiency.

The special PMMA lenses ensure a high light control, making it possible to create a very wide grazing light effect, ideal for washing wide areas in a soft veil of light. Its very small size – only 8cm including the bracket – makes it the ideal fixture for applications where, due to historical, artistic or architectural reasons, a minimum impact is required.

MINIMALIST DESIGN

Conceived to be easily hidden from view , OVALINE is characterised by its minimalist and compact design and by the heat dissipator having a special finned oval section. The ultrathin polycarbonate screen, developed to avoid undesired reflections, enhances the “feel” of the design.

•DMXFixture equipped with integrated power supply and DMX interface. To be programmed through DMX control unit or through any other DMX 512 controller. Internal dip-switches to select the DMX digital address.

•CTC - ATMOSPHERE TUNEThe fixture is able to perform 10 different pre-set scenes with 10 pre-set colour temperatures without the need of any external controller. It is also possible to make a master/slave configuration with other fixtures, using a DMX connection.

•Through control systems such as myScenario, it is possible to create “customized” dynamic sequences working on the colour temperature in a range between 2700K and 5700K, on the intensity and on the playback speed. Technical features of control systems see page 206.

Available in two versions – bi-emission (direct/indirect) and pluri-emission – Q-BO is a wall or ceiling mounted fixture for grazing light effect. Thanks to Q-BO optic accessories it is possible to create scenographic lighting effects on the surface to be illuminated and to trim the light beams according to specific project requirements.

Ideal for public use, thanks to its resistant sturdy construction, the bollard’s appealing, seductive design makes it a popular private option too. Strong, attractive and environmentally friendly, CHIODINO zeroes above horizon emissions in compliance with all national and international light pollution laws.

EVEN, WIDE-RANGING LIGHT DISTRIBUTION

Of all the bollards on the market, CHIODINO excels for the quality of its light emission. Its double volute reflecto, specifically designed by the argetti Research and Development Department, gives a special depth to the diffusion of light in the environment. Light distribution is unusually even and wide-ranging, with no contrasts and an ample radius that allows the devices to be spaced further apart. This means savings can be made in the number of devices installed and in the absorbed power consumed. With an interval of three metres between one fixtues and the next, the light never drops below 50lux to assure a perfectly uniform effect. With an interval of four metres between one fixtues and the next, the light never drops below 20lux.

STURDY, VANDAL-PROOF DESIGN

If CHIODINO’s original design flirts with private andresidential environments, its sturdy strength makes it ideal for the public sphere too, as in any urban lighting project a long-life design is a fundamental requirement.Despite its sleek and slender shape, the bollard is sturdy and highly knock-resistant, demonstrated by the IK10 rating of its ultra-flat sceen and construction materials. The head is made of die-cast aluminium, whereas the stem is a single-piece of aluminium shaped by means of a special conification pocess.The fixing od is made of pure steel, as are the vandal-proof screws with which the device is anchored to the ground.

ZERO CANDLES OVER THE HORIZON

Thanks to its special, perfectly flat emission sceen, the new Targetti bollard takes above horizon emissions to 0cd/klm in compliance with all national and international light pollution laws. This makes it the ideal bollard for public-urban contexts where anti-pollution regulations are particularly strict. Despite its zero light emission above 90°, the CHIODINO lights the space around it in a 360° radius, and with no shadows whatsoever for a diameter of approximately 6 metres.

“GREEN” PHILOSOPHY

Now available in a new LED version, EDEN is a direct radial light fixture. Its aluminium optical head and its transparent polycarbonate anti-vandal diffuser make it strong and impact-resistant. Upwards light emission is lower than 0.6% in compliance with the recent standards regarding light pollution.

LED version enables to illuminate pedestrian areas and lanes assuring high illumination values and extreme homogeneity. The special reflector with double volute section allows a 360° emission with excellent levels of uniformity, for applications in open spaces such as squares and gardens as well as in pedestrian and cycle lanes where glare control is essential.

To programme colour-changing light scenarios an external device is usually needed.Thanks to the “Easy-Run-Menu” function the so called “intelligent” RGB fixtures and the SECS drivers can operate automatically performing dynamic colour sequences without any external controller.Through internal dip-switches it is possible to select among 16 different chromatic sequences:– 8 static colour scenarios– 8 dynamic colour sequences– 5 different playback speed values (30sec, 80sec, 160sec, 320sec, 740sec).

LED with the best colour rendering and efficiency available on the market are the sources used for fixtures. By using these fixtures installation providing high emotional value can be created and, at the same time, the operative cost savings and eco-sustainability made available by LEDs are exploited.

The additive RGB colour-mixing system is the technique used to modulate light colour, taking advantage of the LED capability to generate more than 16 millions different colours through the combination of the primary Red (R) Green (G) Blue (B).

The latest generation of “high power” LED or “full colour” RGB LED are used in Targetti’s luminaries; with “full colour” LED’s colour mixing is performed right inside the LED package and light emission is perfectly homogeneous, even at a very short distance.

The additive colour-mixing technique is also the one used for fixtures with CTC (Colour Temperature Control) function, the difference being that only white and amber are used as primary colours. By mixing these LEDs all colour temperatures in the range 2700K – 5700K can be achieved.

RGB LED fixtures need to be fed by special PWM (Pulse Width Modulation technology) drivers, a technology allowing separate triggering of diodes luminous intensity. In the most powerful RGB fixtures, power supply electronics is combined with the one required for DMX data control; these fixtures are self-standing and are defined “intelligent”.Smaller RGB LED fixtures need to be fed by an external driver, named SECS BOX. This driver can feed and control numerous fixtures at the same time.

For control and programming RGB uses the standard DMX512 protocol, the most popular and well-tested protocol for intelligent lighting control.This feature provides a total compatibility with similar devices available on the market and a great variety of accessories at a reasonable cost.

RGB line includes digital devices for dynamic lighting control through DMX protocol. These devices are characterized by very intuitive user interfaces and by a very simple software. My Scenario is compatible with Windows operating systems, and is therefore suitable for the most different architectural applications, from the most simple to the most complex one.

RGB Fixtures can be configured in a master/slave configuration where a virtually unlimited number of fixtures is controlled by a main one. In case of “non intelligent” fixture the master/slave configuration is achieved through a SECS BOX.

SECS 75 and SECS 36 drivers combine, in a single unit, the following 3 functions: power supply of RGB LED devices, playback of pre-set colour sequences andDMX interfa ce for external control devices.The SECS “Easy-Run-Menu” function allows to playback of colour-changing light scenarios that are pre-stored into the driver, without the use of any external driver:- 8 static colour scenarios- 8 dynamic colour sequences- 5 different playback speed values- Start/Stop of the selected scenario through a remote switch.

Device that has to be used for splitting a DMX 512 line to create up to four new branches, each fully optoisolated from the others. Optical isolation of each line increases transmission reliability, since it eliminates any possibility of ground looping. OptoSplitter 4ch also amplifies the DMX signals in output; this permits extending the transmission length to the maximum recommended by the DMX standards; each of the new DMX lines may be used as an independent line and each can handle up to 32 devices (not buffered).

DMX 512 WIRELESS TECHNOLOGY

DMX Wireless technology can be transmitted the control signal to the lighting fixtures, without cables. Transmission is handled by a radio transmitter operating on a reserved frequency that is license-free worldwide.

It is able to transmit a signal:

- from one building to another;- from a central control room to multiple installations in different positions, distant the ones from the others;- from the inside of a building to the exterior, the facade, the roof, or a surrounding;- in archaeological contexts in which digging trenches for laying.

A “DMX 512 Wireless” system requires that the control unit be equipped with a radio transmitter (external or built-in) and that a radio receiver is available in proximity to each DMX device or group of fixtures. The product range includes a series of devices/fixture incorporating DMX 512 wireless technology, having the following characteristics in common:

- the signal is transmitted via radio, using a protocol and components derived from the GSM mobile telephony standard;- the frequency used is FCC approved and is license-free throughout the world, including Japan and the USA;- the devices apply FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology;- installation is the “plug-and-play” type; that is, there is no need to attribute IP addresses to the fixtures, which automatically recognize thetransmitter by which they are controlled;- the radio signal can be transmitted in a range up to 500 meters (1700 feet) in free space and through material such as walls, glass, and metals;- the transmission range can be extended if a signal repeater is used;- multiple transmitters may be used in the same area because they can be individually to control a single group of fixtures without creating reciprocal interference;- the radio protocol can accept a return data signal (for advanced protocols such as DMX 512A or RDM).

Temperature in LED fixtures represents a fundamental parameter in order to define source efficiency and its performances in general.

The values of luminous flux, so as those of efficiency and life, are generally measured and declared by the different LED producers at a Junction Temperature (Tj)=25°.

Anyway, it is fundamental to know that this value refers to the temperature measured on the LED chip: it is actually a theoretical value, and it can be significantly different from the real emission of the fixture. For this reason, flux and efficiency values shown for each of our products in a dedicated table represent both the values declared by the producer and those measured by our labs in effective working conditions.

TEMPERATURE

Much journalism, little firm informationMuch has been written on the LEDs, in recent years, but there is still little clarity on the values to consider in order to make an objective source comparison, especially when comparing different fixtues.

The first thing to know in oder to evaluate a LED fixtue is that its quality and performance depend on the one hand on the characteristics of the LED source and on the other the design of the fixtue itself.Features such as life time, light output and thermal management are critical to determine the quality of a LED fixtue, but often people do not know how to ‘quantify’ them.

Targetti focuses on data transparency and communicates both values of the LED source, and those resulting of the lighting fixtue; this will make our fixtues comparable in a clear way.This dedicated section was therefore designed to help you in understanding and interpreting all published data in the catalogue.

Luminous Flux and Efficiency epresent the key information for the evaluation of the performance of a product. What do they represent exactly?

Luminous flux epresents the emission of the LED source, that is the total amount of light produced by the light source. Efficiency epresents instead the ratio between the emission and the power absorbed by the source, that is the total amount of emitted light divided per the energy consumed by the LED source.

Nowadays there is not a sole way of publishing these data, each company on the market makes its own choice. This means that catalogues of different companies publish different kinds of information, ranging from the data declared by LED producers to values referable to the LED source in peculiar conditions, but also to values that take into account the “loss” due to reflectors, lenses, drivers and so onIn general, the most reliable data is the value measured on the fixtue in its effective usage conditions.

In order to let our customers have a clearer idea of the declared data, Targetti specifies for each LED fixte both its effective flux/efficiencvalues and the values directly referable to the source, as declared by the producer.The purpose of this methodic choice is to simplify the understanding of the data, and, consequently, to provide our customer the immediate possibility of comparison among Targetti lighting fixtues and those by other brands.

It is possible that the colour tones guaranteed by the many different white LEDs available (Cold, Neutral, Warm White) are not exactly equal.

The human eye is particularly sensitive to variations in terms of colour and can perceive changes even when the intensity is the only feature changing.

In order to maintain a constant color temperature that will not change from one LED to another, Targetti carries out a careful binning process. The binning refers to the variation of chromaticity that a LED can have within a single production batch (see Figure 1).

Because of this, we make a strict selection of LEDs all through the different production cycles, grouping them according to their chromatic characteristics.

The human eye can not perceive slightly differences in color between sources with the same bin, this allows us to make high-quality fixtures, talking about color rendition as well.

The definition of the chromaticity according to the MacAdam ellipses relies instead on the physiology of colour perception: colour changes that are not perceivable by the human eye are identified in ellipses around the reference chromaticity in the CIE chromaticity diagram (see Figure 2). Each MacAdam ellipse surrounding the colour value is defined as a ‘step’ or ‘SD’. The constancy of chromaticity decreases with increasing of the steps. A traditional metal halide discharge lamp can have up to 14 steps between the MacAdam ellipses, while with LEDs we use to talk about 7 steps (see Figure 3).

LEDs featured in all Targetti fittings have a range between three and four MacAdam ellipses, they are therefore high quality sources.

Color Rendering Index (CRI) indicates the capability of a light source to reproduce colors faithfully.

If we illuminate an object with two sources characterized by a different CRI, the color of the item will be perceived differently according to the light source used.

It is important not to confuse CRI with color temperature, which is expressed in K: two sources with the same color temperature can actually have a different CRI.

CRI index has a great influence on LED source efficiency, so it often happens that lighting planners have to choose between quality of light and emission. For example, warm white LEDs provide a high CRI, but a very low efficiency in comparison with cold white LEDs.

Targetti collection is equipped with high CRI (>90) LEDs, for this reason their chromatic rendering is comparable to the one of discharge and fluorescent lamps, more commonly used in architectural lighting.

It is important to notice that the efficiency declared by the LED producer is obtained in very precise conditions (well-defined junction temperature, driving current…): for this reason a sensible variation of the efficiency can be seen in different usage conditions.

As already noted, the indication of the flux and efficiency values can change according to the different companies operating in the lighting market.

Beyond the choices made by our main competitors, we believe that the most reliable information to describe the effective performance of our fixtures can only be represented by the values measured on the real performances of the lighting fixture itself.

Due to this, for each LED product, we decided to indicate on the catalogue the values actually generated from the fitting as well as those relating to the light source integrated. Thus, any comparison between our devices and those of our competitors may be made by comparing these values.

A close look at the photometric files can eventually dissolve any further doubts about product characteristics.

Like in all semiconductor electronic devices, the main operating parameters with LEDs and their consistency heavily depend on the temperature at which the semiconductor material (junction) work is done. Targetti fixtures are designed with the aid of special simulation softwares for optimizing the thermodynamics thermal management, by way of passive and active heat dissipation systems.

Passive systems have dedicated materials and geometries that can better dissipate the heat, while active systems are made of “air mover - ultra silent”, that means special fans characterized by an equal or even longer life than that of the source.

This ensures that in all operating conditions there is a wide safety margin with respect to the maximum temperatures specified by the LEDs manufacturer, in order to guarantee the same conditions specified by the manufacturer of the source.

It is obviously important to buy LEDs that have a lifetime specified by the manufacturer as one of the best available on the market.

All information provided by the LED manufacturers indicate the life cycle of the source at various temperatures. The maintenance of proper management of the heat flow into the fitting is therefore a fundamental aspect that must be treated with the utmost care from the earliest stages of product development.

Lifetime for Targetti LED fixtures is defined according to the duration of the light source, until its emission remains over 70% of the total flux. (L/0 standard).

As with the data reported for the emission and efficiency of the products, some manufacturers do specify a longer life time, based on the concept of keeping the flux maintenance parameters significantly lower (≈ 50%). It is therefore extremely important to be very careful with the analysis of this data and most of all, when comparing different products together.

Targetti has always been a leader in the design of the optics that are developed internally in order to optimize the performance of our lighting fixtures as much as the quality of the light beam.

Targetti R&D Department develops optical solutions for LEDs that are based on an extensive know-how and a continuous update on these sources, together with the thermal and mechanical aspects which are obviously considered during the designing process. The innovative nature of many systems and production methods adopted by Targetti ensures therefore that they are protected by international patents.

Maximum efficiencies are guaranteed by the Targetti optical systems, resulting in the study of complex shapes and profiles that use high quality reflective and transparent materials.The source remains always hidden from view by filtering the light or by creating indirect lighting paths for a very high quality light beam.

It is important to emphasize that the rapid technical progress of LED sources results in continuous changes in terms of luminous flux and, consequently, efficiency. The constant evolution of these sources can sometimes mean that future supply of such products have slight differences in performance and light quality.

Photometric measurements were taken at the “Photometric Laboratory, Department of Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications” University of Florence and at certified laboratoriesThese measurements are performed at a room temperature equal to 25±1 °C as required by UNI EN 13032-1 - Light and lighting - Measurement and presentation of photometric data of lamps and luminaries - Part 1.

The photometric values quoted are dependent on the optical system to which they relate, and from the light source used. In order to improve its production, the Company reserves the right to change these optical systems and consequently relative photometric data without notice. For ease of use, the three types of photometric curves present within this catalogue are shown and explained below: 1. Polar diagram for luminous intensity 2. Polar diagram with luminance values 3. Polar diagram with CIE flux code

Photometric data are available in the “download” section of www.targetti.com, in digital format.For photometrics related to pre-drilled sources, you can only refer for guidance to the curves reported in the “Light Sources”. These curves are cited as examples only and must be verified with photometric data of the souces actually used, which must be provided by the manufacturer of said sources.

1. LUMINOUS INTENSITY POLAR DYAGRAM

The photometric curves shown in this catalogue are compiled according to the “C-γ” international reference system, where the C0-C180 plane is perpendicular to the fixtues and the C90-C270 plane is parallel to the fixtues, as depicted in the figue. For symmetrical and rotationally symmetric fixtues therefore, a single curve is used.
