Q: We are looking at Container ships on the ocean 2-3 miles out as the crow flies. Would these fit the bill?A: These are very similar to the ones I used when I was in the Navy from 1980 to 1985 and yes, they would be excellent for that purpose. The 10power is about as strong as you would want without shaking and the 50mm lenses let in a lot of light so they are even good for night use! The one I got has a very crisp/sharp focus day or night.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

This model is definitely the best binocular that I have ever used and owned. I have gone through a few. The size and weight are both good. The focus, light and clarity are absolutely the best I've ever had. I allowed many people to use them and they have all said that these are the best they have ever used. I have use them prodominetly for viewing sport activities (football/basketball games) and they are a must to have when trying to close to the field of action.
