Task one

Currently there is great concern in Britain about the ethical behaviour of the press.This has led to charges being laid in the courts. Who laid the charges and why? What are these charges? What are the concerns? What are basis for the charges that leading newspapers have acted unethically and possibly illegally?

Task two

A German blacksmith Gutenberg invented mechanical printing in the 14th century upon which printing and newspapers have relied upon for hundreds of years. In the 21st century newspapers as we know them now face a ‘sustainailbility’ issue.

What are these issue? How did they come about? What is ‘driving’ these sustainability issue? What is the future of newspapers in the 21st century?
