A German blacksmith Gutenberg invented mechanical printing in the 14th century upon which printing and newspapers have relied upon for hundreds of years. In the 21st century newspapers as we know them now face a ‘sustainailbility’ issue.

What are these issue? How did they come about? What is ‘driving’ these sustainability issue? What is the future of newspapers in the 21st century?
