I you were alive and breathing or paying any attention to music and liestyle during the 80s or are what wouldbe known as an 80s kid, there is no doubt in my mind that someone out there has heard o the amed and wellknown group o artists known as Bone Tugs N Harmony. Tis year 2013, the group is celebrating its 20th anni-versary o being together as a solid group that has done nothing less than bring you the most solid rhythmic andmusical rhymes as well as beats. We were very ortunate to be called upon by the new PR Manager and we weretold that the group really loves the magazine (LOL who knew!) and wanted to grace our cover as well as provideus with an inside look at all that is Tuggish Ruggish. As we talked, laughed, joked and sat with the guys overa course o two days (along with a killer shoot), we ound that there is much more to the guys than just some

killer songs and millions o Platinum Records and Number One Hits. (Which i I may add, provided me as wellas possibly most o our readers, a lot o elevated memories.) I remember doing some o the most unthinkablebut amazing things while listening to the group in High School as well as just about every other day or that mat-ter. I you remember some o the hits like that o Crossroads and First o the Month then you will love to seewhat the group has in store. Sit down and light one up as we get a head change with the group known none otherthan, Bone Tugs N Harmony.

attoo Empire- Tis is your guys 20 year anniversary album dropping sometime around the end o 2013 or thestart o 2014. What kind o eel are you guys projecting with this album in relation to the other previous albumsyou have already come out with? Are you guys coming out with that old school Bone Tugs eel or is it some-

    thing new and resh?

Bone Tugs & Harmony- As bone thugs n harmony, Crazy is pretty much guiding us with this one, we got thiscool vibe going on right now between us.We are just basically just getting our core an base what they want to hear, but at the same time we are artists andwe are talented enough to get in there and lay down some new stu with a new direction that reaches out to thenew ans as well as the base oundation we already are coming out the gate with. Being who we are, we are notgoing too ar right or le that we are not too ar o the beaten path We as real artists want to convey that wecan adapt to any situation no matter what time it is or how long we have been in or out the game.

.E.- Yea man I know what you mean I know that you guys will probably be coming out strong on this one

here, to kind o give back to my age range, Im almost 30 here and I remember you guys like everyone else, roll-ing blunts at school, listening to you guys and getting high and going back to class high as hell I know that nomatter what year it is I can always bet someone a thousand bucks that on the rst o the month that you will hearon any o the rap, hip hop and r & b stations, First o the Month. Tat is just one o those songs that will alwaysbe iconic Obviously with that said, my age range an base will always be there with and or you guys. Fromwhat I hear, there is going to be two separate cds dropping at the same time by you guys Are you guys going tobe pushing or the an base you already have or are you going to be headhunting or that an base who is still inHigh School, who are pretty much wrapped up in the Kanye West, Lil Wayne and Drake hype? Or are you goingto be just staying true to whom you guys always have been?

B..N.H.- As ar as we go, I would say that we are Hip Hops Special Group o Artists. We are their Aerosmith, weare their Guns N Roses, their Megadeath. We are by ourselves and take us or leave us that is who we are. And asar as styles or things o that nature, I mean we are always going to be keeping it hot. You know what you like tohear and what you do not. We are making it look good, sound good and beat good, we are looking or that wholecombo on this one. Being in this business or this long, you wake up doing this, you breathe this and you livethis. You know, we all study music, we have not been sleeping or lying around on this one We have been livingevery day, since we made it and we will keep doing it all the way thru 2013. We are now men o 2013 and thatis what you are going to get out o this album, Men o 2013, rue Artists, doing what we do best, working withsome organization, its going to be a little less scatter brained. Busy is now not drinking, we are a little cooler andwe are that more closer knit amily type stu Something you eel inside and in your heart.

.E.- I know what you mean, Music speaks to people in dierent ways, Your music spoke to me and my genera-tion and even going long beore that rom the start your music with the very rst albums, it spoke to so manythat were a ew years older than me. Its music that speaks to multiple generations or scattered parts o a singlegeneration From kids my age in their 30s to even the younger ones like my brothers age who are in their early20s to those who are in their teens now. My nephews who are in their early teens are bumping the older mixesyou guys had out that were and are still bumping to this day It catches you o guard and makes you smile. Youguys are truly a mulit generational group that speaks to the masses. Te new project is something that I trulylook orward to hearing and soon getting in the stores when it drops.

.E.- Who or what groups would you guys say helped mold or infuenced the group thus ar and also is infuenc-ing what you guys are doing now? Or are you guys just winging it with your own fair and style o your own?

B..N.H.- I think we get a lot o infuences rom a lot o soulul music and upbeat stu and we treat it like cook-ing up gumbo, we put it all together and mix it all up. We keep it all the way real no matter what rom start tonish. As ar as infuences though we listen to like Old School, that stu you clean up your house to on a Sundaymorning, with your mom playing the emptations, Anita Baker, the OJs. You know stu like that. We are all oldsouls but we are still young at heart and in this world we are still relevant, so we are still using that and putting itin our music.

.E.- Now obviously with you guys having such a huge and long history out there, what would you guys say, sincepeople say that music infuences the world today, What would you say is the eel that your music is pushing? What is the undertone in your guys music that you eel is being pushed? I know its more than just getting highand living the lie.

B..N.H.- Our music pushes the struggle, it pushes real lie situations, and we speak the real rom the heart. Tatis what gave us a lot o our success, which is where we came rom. Real music rom the heart. We dont do it orthe whats going on right now, what kind o car we are driving or what we are drinking. Nothing is wrong withthat, but we like to keep it real with a simple message. We use this as an avenue to help teach those who are lis-tening to our music. Hopeully people can use this and put it to good use, to walk with it. We are always looking

or that element o motivation. Tat is our undertone Its motivation. We love to motivate people, and that iswhat people fock to. Its that motivation.

.E.- Tere are so many rappers out there (not to knock any o them) who rap about the millions o dollars andBugattis and all the stu that realistically mean nothing. Tat is something that really loses people since we donthave that and live that lie. Not saying that I dont want that stu or dont think its cool, but its not realistic, itshard to identiy. But with you guys I can identiy with the struggle, and things like that. Tat is something thatI eel will also help capture more listeners and ans as well as readers or me (LOL)- More o a core ollowergroup that is hit in the heart by listening to our new hits.

.E.- With you guys going on tour and starting to get back into the swing o things with studio time, what type opre-game rituals do you guys have?

B..N.H.- Well we denitely start o and lock and load with some good graces and prayers. Wish the blessingson the amily and start with all that. We still get the butterfies every time we do this and go out there and evenrecord. Its just the natural element. Its the adrenaline going and stu

    .E.- Any special projects?

B..N.H.- A new group o guys out o LA that is hitting the radar really hard that you all should ollow, Te Duckaped Gangs, Its basically 3 gentlemen who started o as youngsters and are still doing their thing but other thanthat producing and individual tracks as well as honing my cra. I wanted to push Flesh N Bone as more than anartist but as a producer as well.

.E.- Are you guys mentoring anyone at the moment?

B..N.H.- We are working with a lot o people but we are all gravitating to the executive side since we are gettinga little older now. We are still young at heart but in reality we are looking more now at our kids and giving backto them and that younger generation. We are doing this or all o our kids. We are in that planning stage, gettingbehind the music. Getting behind the music is where you want to be aer the very successul careers we got tohave and enjoy as Bone Tugs N Harmony. Tat is really where you want to end up, running things. Our handsare in a lot o cookie jars, people beating down our doors and ringing our phones wanting us to be a part otheir mixes. For us essentially our main ocus is being Bone Solidied. Completely impressed with how we inputand creative energy as solidiying bone thugs as a solid group. We have been touring again with Live nation andGuerrilla union and our live perormances and growing back into stadiums. Te rock the bells tour was o the

hook. We are pretty much just solidiying the group. We are segwaying ourselves into executives.

.E.- New Anniversary Album is about to drop end o the year or possibly beginning o 2014. Is there anythingyou guys are doing right now on tour or anything to help push that? A big tour or just warming up?

B..N.H.- Well man you know we are the rolling stones o Hip Hop so we are always going, that is how we keepit moving but we try and stay in the aces o our ans with some o the smaller clubs and venues here and therejust to let them know we are still there and in the spotlight. We are totally going to be getting that album in theworks. Te music is the easy part; we are just trying to get back to working together again and gelling as a groupand as riends.

    .E.- Any Solo projects?

BNH- Te Quick Fix- Level 1. Just gelling more music, a little 10 track drop. We are just keeping it going. Weare just putting out what we got.

.E.- I heard that there is a special marketing project you guys are getting set to launch to coincide with the newalbum dropping. As ar as something with what Wish is doing? A cancer oundation.

B..N.H.- (Wish Bone)- I am going thru something right now in my personal lie with my amily. Not going toelaborate on it too much but recently my daughter was diagnosed with Cancer so we are going to do a lot o thetouring and album sales to help surround that and help push that with the sales. Kids with cancer. We just wantto help out any and all kids out there who are struggling with this. Tere is a special oundation we are in theworks o setting up, two actually but I cant release the name as o yet as my daughter still has to like the nameand all that but or sure be on the lookout. We are working on two o them to help bring awareness that there area lot o sick kids out there that need love and help as well as support to get thru what they are going thru.

Strap in and sit back for an amazing one on one interview with the Tacoma Washington Native Bombshell known as,

    Tierra Marie.

T.E.- So Tierra, tell us a little about yourself...

TM- Well, my real name is really Tierra and Ive been modeling since 2005, I am 25 years old and originally

from Tacoma Washington. Im a lot of fun!!! Our shoot will be awesome!!!

T.E.- So what do you do when you are not modeling or being totally amazing and fun?

TM- I do not model full time, I also run a few websites and shoot all content for them as well, and I am

expanding into model management (whatever that means lol) so, I am pretty busy. I would LOVE to dolots of TFP like I did when I rst began modeling but I work A LOT!

T.E.- So, do you do your own Hair and Make up or do you have a special team to help you as I am sure

that doing everything yourself becomes tiring with being as busy as you are.

TM- Most of my photoshoots I have done my own makeup and no need for a hair stylist because I dont

    have much hair hahaha!

T.E.- What age did you receive your rst tattoo and what was is it?

TM- I got my rst tattoo during senior nals in high school. I was fresh

18 years old and couldnt wait any longer.

T.E.- What inspired your rst tattoo?

TM- I was so stressed out and excited about graduating High School, I gured a tattoo would take mymind off of it all. I rounded up about 5 friends and we all walked to the tattoo shop.T.E.- How many tattoos do you have?

TM- I stopped counting at 13, however I think Im pretty close to about 17 different pieces.

T.E.- Who did your rst tattoo?

TM- I did the worst possible thing ever, and went to a little shop in my hometown that was open about 6 months then shut

down. It turned out to be a crooked little tramp stamp buttery that my dad never let me get away with.

T.E.- What inspired you to be a model?

TM- I did my very rst shoot as a valentines day gift for an ex boyfriend. I just wanted some sexy pictures and it turned

out the photographer knew some people who had a local magazine that i got featured in right away. It kind of just took on

a life of its own after that.

T.E.- What is your number one passion in life?

TM- Currently my #1 passion in life is to inspire people to make healthy choices and get in shape. I am looking forward to

becoming a personal trainer in the near future and, working with all types of different people to reach their tness goals.

T.E.- How do you feel tattoos are accepted in the workplace?

TM- I see nowadays they are more accepted. I have always had the privilege of working for myself and dont have to

    worry about that.

T.E.- How do you feel tattoos inuence society?

TM- Tattoos inuence and promote individuality. They give a person the chance to express themselves in a creative way.

T.E.- Any advice for anyone wanting to get their rst tattoo?

TM- SHOP AROUND! Do you really want a bargain tattoo? I wish I would have shopped around and got advice from

someone with more experience before getting my rst one but, I was young and wanted ink fast.

T.E.- How do you feel tattoos build your character?

TM- My tattoos are all an expression of myself. Im like a walking piece

of art work and I love it.

T.E.- Do you have a favorite tattoo artist?TM- My favorite tattoo artist is Melissa at Ink Spot Tattoo in Tacoma Washington. Shes just an amazing person to work

with! I looked all over for a female artist. I can tell her a few ideas and come in a few days later

and she will have a cool design ready and custom for me, thats how we

work. She just knows me and what I want. She rocks!

T.E.- Who would be your number one choice to get a tattoo by?

TM- Im not real big on names but, who doesnt want an epic Kat Von D tat? Its on the bucket list!!

T.E.- One special trait about yourself that the public may not know?

TM- Im a computer geek and also play the violin. Im an all around nerd and its a trait that is often overlooked!!

T.E.- In closing, do you have a favorite quote?

TM- Hollywood is a place where theyll pay you a thousand dollars for a

kiss and fty cents for your soul.
