EVENTS @ LBRCE :

The National Day of Unity, under the aegis of the NSS unit, was celebrated on 31st Oct’

2014 to mark the 140th birth anniversary of legendry freedom fighter, pre-eminent builder of

modern India and the First Home Minister of the Union of India, Sardar Vallahbhai Patel. Rich

tributes were paid to the Iron Man of India. About 1600 students and 200 staff participated in 1-k

Marathon in campus to spread the message of unity as part of the event.

In the first campus drive conducted in the college during 13-15thOct., TCS selects 51

students for recruitment.

NSS ACTIVITIES:

LBRCE NSS Unit collected an amount of 1,74,220/- (One Lakh Seventy Four Thousand and Two Twenty

Rupees) towards providing financial assistance to Smt. L.Lakshmi Tulasi ,mother of L.Siva Narendra Babu

who lost his life in a tragic road accident in Sept,14. A cheque of 1,74,220/ - was handed over to her on 15th

Oct’14.

LBRCE NSS Unit organized a cleanliness drive under “SWATCH BHARATH Campaign on 17th

Birth Anniversary of Iron man, Sardar Vallabhai Patel

On the occasion of Police Martyrs Anniversary, LBRCE NSS unit, in association with Red Cross

Society, organized a mega Blood Donation Camp in the campus with a total of 104 students from

our college and two other colleges i.e. Vani Engg. College & Vikas Degree donating blood. The

yeomen services rendered byPolice Personnel to society was recalled on the occasion.

LBRCE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION :

A review meeting of the Alumni Association was conducted on 29th Oct.’14. It was resolved to

bring on board more no. of former students by launching a special drive.

Also, to reflect the valuable suggestions of the Alumni in the planning & Development process
