What happened in the beginning of the book?

In the beginning of the book, Alice Rumphius wanted to be just like her grandfather. Go to far away places. Then live by the sea, and some how make the world more beautiful.

What happened in the middle of the book?

In the middle of the book, Alice Rumphius gets older and becomes a librarian and people don’t call her Alice the call her Miss. Rumphius.

What happened at the end of the book?

At the end of the book Miss. Rumphius goes to far away places and lives by the sea. She plants a whole lot of lupines and changed the world.
