Tioga County Association of Boroughs Meeting

It was Lawrenceville’s turn to host the Tioga County Association of Boroughs (TCAB) meeting. Representatives from other boroughs in the county, as well as local government officials, gathered at the Calvary United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall for hors d’oeuvres, conversation, and dinner!

The Calvary United Methodist Women provided a beautiful, patriotic theme for the dining area and a delectable assortment of hors d’oeuvres! And dinner was delicious: thank you once again, ladies, for feeding us so well!

Following dinner, we met in one of the classrooms; we heard reports from other Boroughs and from the office of Senator Scarnati. We also held drawings for door prizes, provided by Lawrenceville Borough, and for our 50/50 fund.

Each month we also have a special speaker. This month, we were privileged to have as our guest speaker former District Attorney George Wheeler.

Attorney Wheeler has recently been sworn in as Tioga County President Judge: our thanks to him for making the time available to speak to us, and our congratulations for this accomplishment!
