Project Statement
Restoration and Remediation of Phase 1 to establish a gateway to the eco-park/reserve for visitors, wildlife enhancement and invasive species management. Adjacent to the Scenic and Historic Tchefuncte River, Wetlands Restoration Group has been working with the TRF instituting a concept plan to promote understanding and protection of an eco-wetlands park, enhance community pride and involvement and to encourage the education of wetlands to all ages.
Keeping the vision that any work done will leave a minimal footprint which will preserve the natural beauty of the wetlands and protect the habitat of numerous species within the park. TRF will be implementing a Phased approach to the entire park so all friends can enjoy the grounds and watch progress of the park over the years.
