Engineered to work with nearly any electronically controlled automatic transmission, the TCI® Transmission Control Unit is fully-programmable and can be run either as a standalone unit – even with a non-computer controlled engine - or in conjunction witheither OEM or aftermarket ECUs, such as the FAST™ XFI™ Fuel Injection System. Constant Pressure Valve BodiesAutomatic transmissions are complex components, mysterious boxes filled with fluidand strange-looking parts that challenge even an accomplished engine builder. Manyracers and street performance enthusiasts incorrectly install their transmission withthe critical Throttle Valve (T.V.) cable used to set internal line pressure and part throt-tle shifting either left disconnected or improperly adjusted. Heavy-Duty Input Shaft & Drum Assemblies For 700R4/4L60E

The new TCI® Heavy-Duty Input Shaft and Drum Assembly can now be purchased with anoptional, enhanced durability sun shell to deliver the ultimate in strength and performance.A common problem with 700R4 and 4L60E transmissions is damage to the sun shell andits inner gearing through harsh shifting or high torque conditions. Featuring a cryogenical-ly treated input shaft, the assembly also incorporates a specially processed heavy-dutydrum with a steel reinforcement ring, which is especially important for transmissionsenhanced with raised line pressure to improve shift quality.

The TCI® Heavy-Duty Input Shaft and Drum Assembly is available in two versions: one for’85-‘93 700R4/’93-‘97 4L60E transmissions and the second for ’98 and newer models4L60E. Both versions are perfect for any race or high torque street application and can bepurchased with or without the enhanced durability sun shell.

Throttle Valve Plunger & Sleeve For 700R4/4L60700R4/4L60 OEM set-ups typically force a part-throttle downshift around 50% throttle opening. This prematuredownshift occurs during standard driving conditions when you don’t need the transmission to drop from 4th to3rd gear. Replacing your factory Throttle Valve Plunger with the new TCI® Throttle Valve Plunger and Sleeve for700R4/4L60 transmissions will ensure proper downshift timing at approximately 85% throttle opening - ensur-ing better drivability, gas mileage, and downshift control.

Mega-Pressure Boost Valves For 2004R/700R4Engine combinations exceeding 450 horsepower require special attention when it comes to internal fluid pres-sures. To make certain your 2004R/700R4 has enough fluid pressure to handle high horsepower output, youshould always install a TCI® Mega-Pressure Boost Valve. Generally the maximum line pressure produced by theMega-Pressure Boost Valve is 275-300 psi, ensuring correct clamping force created by increased line pressures.

The Mega-Pressure Boost Valve is offered in two diameters: 0.570” with 41% more surface area than OEM throt-tle valves and 0.400” diameter with an impressive 78% increase in surface area over stock. The 0.570” diame-ter boost valve raises pressures in Drive and Overdrive modes. The 0.400” diameter low/rev boost valveenhances pressure in the Manual First and Second ranges for your 200R4/700R4 transmission. These valves fitall 200R4/700R4 transmissions and can be easy installed with the transmission still in the vehicle.
