So let me take this time in letting you know some of the things I’m thankful for. First and foremost I’m so thankful that God didn’t allow me to die in my sins! There’s a lot of things that I’ve done which I’m sorry for and ashamed of, but God through His Son took them and nailed them to the cross. Now I don’t have to live in condemnation but rather live a life of vic- tory in Christ. I’m thankful for my wife who God sent to me. I know many aren’t acceptable of men and women getting married while in prison. But as I’ve said before, I know what I prayed for and my wife know what she prayed, and God in His innite wisdom brought us together. I could go on and on about what and who I’m thankful for, but time and space won’t permit it. So I thank God for everyone who has been a part of this ministry, who have been a part of my life and in helping me to see the “LIGHT”. For those who were there for me when I was in my madness, I’m so thankful for all of you who didn’t give up on me. I pray that none of you just set aside Thanksgiving to show your gratitude to God and to others. I do pray also that this Thanksgiving will draw families close together, that many will be reconciled, and that the love of God will be shared among many. Greetings, Although we are to always be grateful and thankful for the many blessings God bestow upon us, this is the season that has been set aside for us to show it to others and more so to God! Remember it's not about us, it's all about Him!

“…So all Israel stoned him with stones; and they burned them with fire after they had stoned them with stones.’’ Joshua 7:25

“OUR SINS AFFECTS OTHERS”

If you start at vs. 10 and read on through the rest of Chapter 7, you’ll see the “him” that got stoned was a man named Achan. And the “them” that was burned and stoned with him was everything Achan possessed – including his family (vs. 24). The sin of drinking and driving affects many when that person has an accident and kills someone! The sin of drug abuse affects many when it leads that person to prison! Yet at the time of their enjoyment these people say: “I’m only enjoying myself, I’m not hurting anyone”. Achan thought the same thing when he decided to sin against God’s command (vs. 20-21). Little did he know, he was jeopardizing the life of his entire family by his greed! Remember the people at Enron? Their sin of greed ruined the life of many. All the years of hard work and saving and investing their money was gone, because of the sins of a few. And so it is within the family of faith, one person’s sin can affect many within that congregation, and that’s why sin must be dealt with quickly and properly! We see in Chapter 5 of 1 Corinthians, Paul is rebuking the church for not deal-ing with the sin that’s known about in the church (vs. 1-2). Oftentimes we’ll look the other way when we are aware of a brother or sister taken over by sin. But here Paul gives in-structions on dealing with such sins so they don’t contaminate the whole congregation. But Paul also in Galatians 6:1 urges the mature in Christ to deal with these issues, and even those should be careful. Our sins really do affect others, so let’s be more conscience of our lifestyle. A NEW TRAIN OF THINKING

This is to my brothers and sisters that are incarcerated behind these metal ropes and to whoever else that cares to listen. I’m at the brink of turning 27 in the next few days and when I mention my name it might just shock the world (like LeBron going to Miami) to hear me speak these words. First off let me say thanks to Bro. Virgil and Sis. Shyrolon Wilson. I started reading this newsletter because of my mother Michelle Broomfield-Robinson (Hi Mom!) but to be honest for a long time I didn’t believe nor did I have faith in the unseen. That’s until I actually tried to under-stand and that’s how I came up with this “train of thought”. In life some lessons are learned again and again when we are weak our thoughts are open to

the assaults of the world. Poverty will come on you like a bandit and scarcity like an armed man. We do not fall into the

deep pits of sin overnight it’s a gradual process. Our thoughts focus increasingly on worldly matters. We are what we think therefore our

thoughts determine our actions our present thoughts affect how we will spend eternity. When our thought are faithfully focused on God we will be rewarded with an eternal mindset in this life.

We will fall, we will fail, if we let the wrong thoughts direct our actions. People think satisfac-tion is found in what they can get out of a relationship with another person. Most people seek satisfaction through imagination. They have imaginations of unworldly power, sex, money. Popularity, and success but to search for satisfaction is in our human nature.

I’ve learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need and I know what it is to have plenty I’ve learned the secret of being in any and every situation my worries and fear are gone and bitterness and anger have been replaced with forgiveness and love.

These are just a few friendly steps of life (instructions). I’ve learned to live by. Coming for an ex non believer who use to write raps in his spare time instead of reading the bible (book of life). I’ve tried other forms of entertainment before starting reading my Bible and nothing quite fit the bill until then. My lifestyle character and my self image has changed dramatically since then. So I would like to thank my mother for helping me keep the faith that there is a God. I’m born and raised in Dallas, TX where things doesn’t come easy, because of her I didn’t have a sign asking people to feed me. For those of yall that are eager to know I’m on Hughes Unit and my name is Mauricio. “Thanks for Listening”

SCRIPTURE OF THE MONTH BY REY P.: The deepest in this reality is to be kept by Jesus...who is the power of God through faith, unto salvation. This is true joy. (1 Peter 1: 5-6)

I look back over the years and all the time I’ve been away and it’s finally dawning on me that I’ll be free any day. There is a tick within my stomach a tiny spark of fear, what will I find within that world that will keep me away from here. Everyone that I did know, they seem to have forgotten about me, the world has passed, sped right by and now I’ll soon be free. I have no kids nor mate to speak of and yet its never too late, for my destiny’s written, by the hand of God for he’s director of all our fate. I have no worry of the unknown for my trust is in the right place I know He will guide, protect and love me and prosper me with His grace. That spark of fear is just a reminder of a journey that I once took a place I visited in this life where my foundation really got shook. But now I embark on a brand new life a new man emerges from the dust, with brand new words, values, and goals, for it is God I put my trust. My heart is set and my mind made up, in the way that I must go. But I can never forget what lies behind me, or the shear power of my foe. For the snares are set, waiting to trap causing my life to stall. Satan is there with a smile on his face waiting for me to fall, but that’s not the plan my God has set, not the way He ordained it to be and I’m determined to reach that ultimate goal where I’m physically, mentally, spiritually free.

The reason why us Christians fail in our fight is because we are fighting the wrong fight with the wrong weapons. 1, The wrong fight Ephesians 6:12: we fight against ourselves and human being, when our fight is against forces of evil. 2. The wrong weapons 2 Corinthians 10:4: we often use the weapon of aggression, violence,

political solution, human ingenuity, talents, wealth, etc. are in themselves inadequate to pull down Satan’s strongholds. The only weapons adequate to destroy the fortresses of Sa tan, unrighteousness and false teaching are those God gives such as the blood of Jesus, the authority of Jesus name, the power of the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts. When us, as Christians realize that its evil forces we are fighting and we can only win through God’s gifts in prayer, fellowship, uncompromising commitment to God’s word (all of it) and

PAPARAZZI CHRISTIAN

Paparazzi is a freelance photographer who doggedly pursues celebrities to take candid pictures for sale to magazines and newspapers. I brought this message one Sunday to the MVP church members and I thought it would be nice to share a short, straight to the point motivational word to my brother’s and sis-ter’s in the Lord. With a better understanding of what a paparazzi is, I would like to help you understand what a paparazzi Christian is (Pro. 26:22), “The words of a tale bearer (gossip) are like tasty trifles, and they go down into the inmost body.” A paparazzi Christian doesn’t have a physical camera to take pictures of someone. They use their mind to take a mental picture of someone so they can run and go sale it to an-other Christian … gossiping about them. A paparazzi Christian see’s a person (usually another Christian) in whatever they believe is a fault, snaps the mental camera shot and go sale it to another person (mainly another Christian). Paparazzi Christian’s are everywhere, they will praise the Lord right next to you, say god is good, and pray for you. all along they’re snapping the shot of what they going to gossip about you to another Christian. Don’t buy into the paparazzi Christian mental photo of another believer! When they come trying to sale you a gossip track about another brother or sister in the Lord - stop them in their tracks! Paparazzi Chris-tian only go by what they assume and not by the spirit within them. Don’t be a paparazzi Christian, (Matthew 7:3) “And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye?” God bless you all and remember, run from the paparazzi Christian and make sure you, yourself, are not a - Paparazzi Christian!!! GOD WILL ALLOW FAMINE! God speed Body of Christ! The word will come out of Genesis 12:1-32 with points of power out of chapters 16, 37, 39, 40, 41, 43 through 50. it would be a blessing if you all would add the story of Joseph in your bible study this week. God called the man Abram out of his country. He called him away from his family. God called him out of his comfort zone. So that he could build a relationship with Abram. You see, Abram did not have a strong foundation with God at this point. But God was about to allow opposition to arise in Abram’s life! He was going to allow a Famine to rise, so that Abram could accumulate some history with God to build his faith. You see, like you and I Abram needed to learn how to trust God. He had to go through a chain of events and come out of them, to learn how to be the Father of Faith! So here it is, God calls him, his wife, nephew and family out with him. As soon as they made it to an unknown place starting at vs. 10, a famine struck the land. How many of you in the Body of Christ know that when famine strikes, we all fall in a mind set to fear, if we are not strong in the Lord! Your famine could be your lack in studying the word, your lack in trusting God, lack in the money it tales to pay your bills. There was a time in my life where when famine struck, I took prison type chances to make money for the fear of not having any. Abram’s fear caused him to lead his wife to tell a lie and not trust God. Read vs. 11-16. How many of us, when problems hit, we put all of our trust and resources back on ourselves. We said, “Man or Girl, God just ain’t showing up fast enough!” Then we’ll find ourselves asking, “What is this that I’m going through and why me all the time!” Well God could be say-ing, ‘WHY NOT YOU?” You are strong enough to go through this, so that my people can know that I delivered you, my servant out of it! But often times instead of settling into His will, we’ll find ourselves lying, stealing, selling drugs, selling our bodies, doubt-ing God and so many other things, when the famine like situation hit us. Famine will cause people not to see God in these situations, without a relationship or with out the freedom in Christ. God allowed Abram’s famine. God was there to bring him out of that famine and gave him more then what he went in with! God allowed Joseph to go through, in and come out of several famine types of situations. He also gave him the wisdom to prepare for a natural famine, to store up food and the know how to manage it and His people once it came. In Gen. 37:3-11 as a child or young man God began to visit Joseph, show him things, speak to him. as he spoke them, his brothers began to hate, envy and plot against him. here is a point of power, If you have hate, envy or secret things in your heart against a member of the Body of Christ, your en-vy, hate and dislike is against God himself, for all gifts and abilities to serve come from Him! I encourage you to repent, you don’t need to allow Satan to play with you where your brother or sisters in Christ are concerned! You see, in the end Joseph was blessed and those who hated him bowed at his feet! Do not find yourself in such a situation. His brothers cast him into a pit with no water. In the next verse they sat down to eat 37:25 famine had rose in Joseph’s life. They sold him to the Ishmaelite's who are descents Abram's oldest son Ishmael. Whom in Gen. 16:12 The angel of God called a wild man, who’s hand will be against every man and every man against him! So why sell your brother into the hand of the descents of a wild man? So often we find ourselves gossiping to unbelievers about a brother or sister. Do you know that when you do that, you help Satan encourage the unbeliever not to want to become a Christian. Repent and stop doing that. No matter what you think of your family in Christ, pray for them and keep our hand and mouth off them. You don’t help yourself when you come against God’s children. I encourage you to add Joseph’s story to your Bible study this week. God allowed Joseph to go through troubles, prison and brought him out. In chapters 43-50 we see how God will bless our faithfulness if when any and all famine type situations come we faithfully go through them with God. If we just trust in him and stay focused. If we would refuse to allow scarcity to manipulate us to sin. No matter what that scarcity may be. The lack of our feeling and emotions be catered to, the lack of someone laying next to us in bed. The feeling of being alone and what ever else our famine may be. So what is your famine, which is it in your life today? If God leaf you to it, he’ll bring you through it! It’s pur-pose is to get you to a place that you will trust God. A place where we will declare “Devil you are trippin, I ain’t even moved by this one. The one I just came out of was stronger than this!” I know God is working in the midst of our famines family, we got to allow him to teach us how to manage through His word in this thang! What is your famine today, is it a lack of giving God full leadership over your life? Is it a lack of studying His word? Seeking His face> Is it relationship problems, loneliness or simply your not trusting Him? In verse 17 God plagued the man who touched Abram while in a famine type situation. We don’t know what God is allowing his servants to go through so it’s wise to love each other. As Abram walked away from his situation he took with him a little more trust and faith in his God. God’s going to make the parole board and the courts give me up and bless us with our walking papers out of these Joseph type situations. Famines will come until we go home but how we respond to them is key! God Bless You! Rev. Leroy Ford

THE BEST OF NOTHING (YOU ARE ANTIQUE AND UNIQUE!) ARTICLE BY: PASTOR DECASO WOODS

We are God’s special people! The word special means peculiar. We are God’s peculiar people. Some people were raised in a household by their parents or legal guardians telling them you’re ugly, stupid, no one wants you but us, you’ll never amo9unt up to anything, or why can’t you be like him or her? And right now you may be this person struggling within yourself thinking no one wants you because you have been told these bad things by your parents and now you’re having some kind of struggle of knowing about who you are and why was you made the way God created you. some people were told their too fat or too skinny and these things their parents told them gave them low self-esteem. This is why I hope today these spiritual words from God’s bible will encourage you and give you love, joy and peace which surpasses all understanding from God forever and forevermore. King David said in Psalms 139:14-16 verse: I will praise you for I am fearfully wonderfully made, marvelous are your works and that my soul knows very well, 15) my frame was not hidden from you, when I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16) Your eyes saw my substance being Yet unformed and in your book they all were written the days fashioned for me when as yet there were none of them. Yes my brothers and sisters God wrote in His book the Holy Bible how He created us so that should make you smile. So many people in this world have studied or been taught to mimic someone. It’s OK wanting to take on a profes-sion, but keep God and Jesus first with everything you do and while doing this please be yourself. You are antique and unique! Antique means valuable because of it’s artistry, chemistry and structure. Unique means being the only one of its kind. Even if you were born a twin you both will have different thumbprints. I love in a sermon Joe Mathis spoke about human thumbprints he said we all are thumbodies. Yes that’s right we are all somebodies instead of nobodies we belong to God. In closing men God first formed and created the man Adam from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nos-trils the breath of life and he became a living being. Genesis 2:7 and women when God first created the woman Eve by putting Adam in a deep sleep then God took the rib from Adam then Adam said this is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh she shall be called woman because she was taken out of man therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife and they shall become one flesh. Men if you are looking for that special godly woman you don’t have to look far. Women if you are looking for that special godly man you don’t have to look for, if you both love God and Jesus and others ant you both are obedient to God’s guide His bible God will pro-vide! God will place that special person for you in your life at the right place, at the right time. God will make the best of nothing for you! Mercedes Benz car company always analogs this motto on their TV and Radio commer-cials by saying Mercedes Benz where cars are made from the best of nothing. Men and women in Christ we are more luxurious than any Mercedes Benz because we have access through Jesus to travel further than any car has driven and arrive to a place where no car or machine can go; and that place is Heaven. Please remember you are antique and unique. God Bless you All...AMEN!

In Ecclesiastes 3:11 says He has made everything beautiful in it’s time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from the beginning to the end.

YOU CAN FLY LIKE THE EAGLE

There was a story told of a man who found a eagle egg. So the man put it in his stall with his chickens. He kept it warm and one day the egg hatched, a baby eaglet came out. The man kept the eaglet with the chickens and they grew up together. The little eaglet learned how to live from the chickens. He did every-thing he saw the chickens do. If the chickens jumped he jumped, if the chickens ran he ran. One day the eagle looked up and saw a eagle flying high in the sky, he asked the other chickens who is that? And they said “that’s the eagle he is the king of the sky.” So the eagle lived on the rest of his life walking around in the chicken pen with the chickens thinking he was a chicken when he was supposed to be flying high in the sky like an eagle. There are a lot of Christians today who live in the chicken pen when all the time they are supposed to be flying high like a eagle. I once was lost and bound by the sins of darkness. I was held captive as a prisoner with no way out. Drugs and alcohol surrounded me were I couldn’t even see anything else. The drugs strip me of all my dignity and self worth. It cause me to live a life of fear and lies. It took everything away from me. I lost even self respect for myself. alcohol caused me to act out in foolishness and stupidity. I acted loud and didn’t care what other’s thought. How I remembered that wonderful day. I got on my knees and asked Jesus to forgive me of all my sins. I asked Him back into my heart and to make me whole again. Jesus Christ came back into my life and set me free. I have now been delivered from drugs and alcohol or any other thing that used to held me cap-tive as a prisoner in darkness of evil. TRUSTING GOD’S FAITHFULNESS

Hello, my name is Ron and I’d like to share my story with you. you see, I came from a very dysfunction family. I have five brothers and six sisters, our grandparents raised all twelve of us single handedly, at least, that’s the way I saw it. By the way, I got that term from watching a bunch of old westerns with my grandparents, sounded pretty educated so, I started using it a lot. The older we got the more tougher things became, our grandparents always told us that was because, the older we got the more we ate, but who could ever resist any of grandma’s good ole cookin? She cook so well that even the good Lawd liked it, at least, that’s what we thought when grandma used to say as she’d lean down toward us with one eye closed and one eye opened as she bounced her long skinny finger in our face, “Now you chillins listen ta me, yous take dis shere plate ta da church ands gives s’it ta da Pastor John, i-t d-a-L-a-w-d-s food, now don’ts yous chillin shorten da Lawd outta one crumbs, now ya here!” b-o-y w-e-e-z w-a-s s-c-a-r-e-d ta deaf. When I got older grandma told us we were so poor that that was the only way she could pay her tithes to God. As I watched closely I did notice this, although times were hard we on several occasions came close to running out of food but we never did. And I-I-I-I-I took careful note of that. Today some twenty years later, I am married and have five children of my own. Although I could never be quite as religious as my grandparents were I still had a little faith on my own. Me and my wife Cindy didn’t pay our tithes and offerings with good old hot plates of foods but we did pay our tithes and offerings right off the top. Neither one of us ever made that much money, in fact, by the time we’d gave the Lawd his portion, paid our bills, bought food, we were totally broke. John Dean is my best friend, he was a specialist doctor and his wife Sarah was a specialist teeth doc-tor, and didn’t have to worry bout o-n-e cent, of course, they worried bout us a lot. “Ron, why you and Cindy always given all your to that church? I notice you and Cindy never have a dime left over to even buy yourselves a sense of humor.” because they were atheists it was so hard to explain things to them so I would just simply say, “T-h-e L-a-w-d is gone takes care of us. He always has an I believe He always will.” Oh John Dean would just shake his old big head in protest an go on to another subject. Although we weren’t much on accepting gifts from others John Dean and Cindy really caught us by surprise. They showed up early Christmas Eve. They never had to knock, they would just go inside the mailbox, pick up the key and come inside. That morning when I got up to go to the kitchen I found a note they left for us that said, “Dearest Ron and Cindy, no need to look for the children, they are with us. these two tickets are for you two to go downtown and see one of the world’s best plays ever. We have already seen it, you will love it, we promise. After that, take your lovely wife out to dinner wherever she desires. There is more than enough money for the both of you. Merry Christmas.” Well, we did j-u-s-t about everything the note said. After leaving the play we were on our way to one of the restaurants we’d always desired to go to that was until we saw a family who was sitting outside on two old worn out suitcases. The mother was holding a small child whom they had wrapped up in a holily blanket. Me nor my wife could bear to pass that family by so we took and gave them all but $3.00 which was j-u-s-t enough to buy a child’s meal at Burger King, a meal that me and my wife shared together. After eating we got up to leave but just when we exited the door we heard a loud commotion going on, it was coming from the restaurant named Dynasty, the one we’d always desired to eat at. After seeing and hearing the commotion Cindy took off in the direction of the restaurant pulling me along with her. “Doctor, is there a doctor in this place?” Are the yells we heard. Neither Cindy or I were doctors but somehow as the crowd pushed forward they somehow pushed us inside and that’s when I saw this huge Caucasian man lying on his side as his face grew dark blue. Suddenly I ran over to him with Cindy following close behind. As I struggled to sit him up she assisted me. We managed to sit him up enough so I could get a few good hard pumps into his stomach and “blookup” up and out flew a big chunk of meat followed by a h-u-g-e inhale and exhale of air. Almost immediately afterwards the paramedics showed up. to our surprise, as we made an attempt to leave people all around us begin leading us away from the door back into the restaurant where they seated Cindy and I down at a VIP table where we ate until we felt like we needed our stomach pumped. The very next day after sharing our story with John Dean and Sarah, we were called ungrateful and they ended our friendship. That was six and a half years ago. But that’s okay because all the while we were trusting God’s faithfulness, He was teaching us to be faithful and in doing so, Cindy and I was given a job by not j-u-s-t any kind of a job at the Dynasty restaurant, we were hired as managers but that’s not all. Today we no longer manage that Dynasty restaurant we own it and our children now work for us. John Dean and Cindy couldn’t believe what they’d been hearing so, they decided to come by and visit our restaurant. “Fine place you got here Ron. We didn’t come by here to stay long,” “No, we didn’t,” Cindy in-terrupted. “John Dean and I we, uh, well, we too have decided it’s time we started getting our lives together so,” “Yeah, so, we joined the church over about two blocks from out place. We just came by to see if you’d like to come and share your story with the members. Mighty powerful story you got there Ron, “John Dean told him. We didn’t stop there with our testimony concerning God’s faithfulness, we’ve shared our story with thou-sands across the globe. Our story has been so powerful and uplifting that the Lawd has even blessed us to share it with you. Be blessed!!! Although my stories are fiction, they are written for the glory of God with hopes of bringing faith to the faithless, hope to the hopeless, and light into the darkness.

Do you ever criticize people in your head? Like somebody might say or do something and in your head you crit-icize them, you might think you don’t or more so you just don’t notice it. Well in the August newsletter Active Frontline Ministries (Beto I Unit) printed this: Promise yourself these things: To be strong so that nothing can disturb your peace of mind. To make someone feel that there is something special about them. To look at the positive side of everything and make your optimism come true. To learn from the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future. TO GIVE SO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF YOURSELF THAT YOU HAVE NO TIME TO CRITICIZE OTHERS. To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trou-ble. To acknowledge God in your life and think about His purpose for your life. I cut this message for August out and I leave it on top of my radio so that every morning when I turn my alarm off I need to first move this message out of the way. After I brush my teeth and do my morning wake up things I’ll read this message sometimes a couple of times before I go to work. On the way out to work the guy behind me might kick my foot or there’s the boss that just needs to shake us all down, whatever the situation they are there all throughout the day, and that’s why I bring up the Active Frontline message. Blessings and greetings to you, November is so full of different changes that God is making. The colors, the atmosphere, the time and the weather. We all look forward to the changes, but some changes we just feel sick behind. Some may not do well with changes of locations, changes of friends are sometimes hard to process. One big change that seems to lay heavy on my heart is the change that has to be made when incarceration no longer separates your love. Husbands have to make changes. Wives have to make changes. If kids are involved, they have to make changes as well. Remember that God will not release his favored servants into a world, home, or heart that is not ready. Husbands realize that your current environments are not in your spirit. Your spirit is the Lord’s spirit, oh men of God. Keep that same thought as you make the change to come home. Make the change to be a role model to your sons and daughters. Make the change to be the spiritual head of the home that God has blessed you with. Make the change to lead, as you follow Christ. Be washed in the blood of the lamb to be a new creation in Christ. No longer having the desire to use a ‘prison’ mentality to demand re-spect. Change to honestly and earnestly praise the Lord, the old ways have passed and the new is before you. · In Psalm 18, 1 I love you, O LORD, my strength. 2 The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my de-liverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. 4 The cords of death entangled me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. 5 The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. 6 In my distress I called to the LORD; I cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice; my cry came before him, into his ears. 7 The earth trembled and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains shook; they trembled because he was angry. 8 Smoke rose from his nostrils; consuming fire came from his mouth, burning coals blazed out of it. 9 He parted the heavens and came down; dark clouds were under his feet.

Wives understand what it truly means to be the wife for the man, that God needs you to be. You are to change in order to fully receive the man of God that will cover you spiritually, encourage you and wash you in the word of God. Your husband is the head and you come along side in order to fulfill the ordained measures and decrees outlined in God’s word. Satan wants you to find comfort in the highway that you travel to visit. Comfort in the distance. Comfort in the ‘false’ singlehood that many practice. Begin to pray for your husbands and the life that God has for you. Amos 3:3, Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? Husbands and Wives, change to embrace the concept of God in your marriage. Include each other on all the decisions of your home, allow each other to make your life and home complete. Change to love each other the way Christ really loves you. Remember God will not release your husband to the life that you have established by the way you live now. Consecrate your thoughts to be on Christ, present yourself to Christ…Be willing to change to be the woman according to God’s plan. Make the change! Ramona

AMEN Hello to my brothers and sisters in Christ, I send my love and respect to Bro. Virgil and Sis. Shy for doing such an excellent job on the newsletters and bringing loved ones into Christ. Thank you so much! I must start this by saying: “TRUE!, TRUE!, TRUE!!!” on what Bro. Virgil is saying about what us brothers endure especially if we had one of those prison attributes where we had to stand up, stand out and stand for something. We endure a lot once we bury that old man. We are called out, we are looked at funny, we are mocked and for some, we are challenged. But I am here to ask my broth-ers—what is meekness? A lot say meekness is not weakness. If you are Christians, then you must look at the real true meekness Christ had, and all I can say is: “he didn’t say a mumbling word.” I was just reading Active Frontline Message for October. All these things are so real, god does allow things to happen for our growth and protection for the future. We just have to realize that for ourselves, because a lot of times that voice we hear, thinking its from God, its really not. If its good its from God, if its bad its not. So the lesson is, we go through things to become stronger...that voice that says: “you did good-you learnt from that—all you got to do now is show someone you’re the boss *not-of-God!!!” God is not telling you to hurt anyone by words, boasting or physically. Yes brother-I do agree when we respond correctly our character is built up. Also, Pastor Ricky Barnett, Jesus is our refuge! You are very talented, my guess is, that you are giving our brothers that’s lost over there the truth, and that’s all praise to God. Bless all you brothers walking in faith. Rev. Darnell Johnson, I hear a lot about you—can’t wait to meet you brother! Bro. you guys there, are bringing some real talk to the table. That is what God need us to do. And I can see you guys are leaders over there. DON’T STOP! Rev. check this out...I’m mar-ried as well and I try so hard not to trip out. Instead I try to uplift. On the issue about the church of Corinth. In v. 10 Paul recognizes that God wants marriage to be permanent. He also acknowledges, however, that sometimes a marriage relationship may become so unbearable that separation from the partner is necessary. Paul, therefore, is not talking here about divorce permitted by God because of adultery as in Mt. 19:9 or abandonment of a marriage partner (see v.15) rather, Paul is speaking of separation without legal di-vorce. Paul may be referring to a situation where a marriage partner is acting in such a way to endanger the physical or spiritual life of the spouse and children. But it is inconceivable that Paul would advocate that a partner remain in a abusive relationship. There-fore, it may be best that one of the partners leave the home and not remarry. The difference in the Corinth church and the Ephesians church is: Ephesians is one of the mountain peaks of Biblical revelation and has a unique place among Paul’s letters. Rather than being hammered out on the anvil of doctrinal controversy or pastoral problems as many of Paul’s other letters were; Ephesians conveys the impression of a rich overflow of revelation growing out of Paul’s per-sonal prayer life...the Corinth church was founded in Paul’s eighteen month ministry at Corinth during his second missionary jour-ney. Corinth church was made up of some Jews but mostly ex-pagan Gentiles. To make a long story short; Corinth was very corrupt-ed with arrogant people and sin of every kind. Eph. 5:25 says: Husbands love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her, v.26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word. I’ll stop there because wives often get it twisted only because the man is not strong enough to feed her. Eph. 5:22 says: Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. We love them as Christ loves the church, but they must submit to is as submitting to the Lord. But mutual submission in Christ is a general spiritual principle. Us men fail in this area, then we blame the woman. We are to be leaders not dictators. We were ap-pointed by God or assigned the responsibility of being the head of the wife and family, our leadership must be exercised in love, gentleness and “consideration” for his “wife” and “family” we are responsible for the provision for the family’s spiritual and domes-tic need, love, protection and interest in her welfare in the same way Christ loves the church, honor, understanding, appreciation, and thoughtfulness, absolute faithfulness to the marriage relationship v.31 Rev. Johnson, my brother, your voice is needed. You speak the truth. I was just researching some of the same lessons. To all that are married—that devil is a lie! We are not fighting each other, we are not at war with each other, we are not battling against flesh and blood. Read Eph. 6:12 and that is why we have problems, that’s why we can’t trust, that’s why we can’t forgive, because we have forgot what and who we are fighting, “MEN” STEP UP FOR OUR FAMILIES!!! Caters to our young female youth who’s been raped, homeless, abandoned, abused, high school drop outs, to young parents and she bring hope back into their lives with support, love, spiritual counseling, food, shelter. She gets them involved in her church and its activities. Pastor TC and her staff enroll them back in school, jobs for youth, restore them back with their family, mentorship, help with trade and college funds, while teaching them biblical prin-cipals. All the young female youth call her “MOMMA TC” She’s more like their Spiritual mother. If you’re hungry, “Pastor Momma TC” is gonna feed ya; cloth ya, make sure you get to work, after school program, school, etc. She is an angel sent from heaven. I myself had a pleasure working with her when she had a youth gospel revival, food drive, charity event and a youth gospel explosion. “Pastor TC” is definitely a true vessel of our Lord and Savior. and she is expanding with one of the biggest youth ministries in Buffalo, New Youth. So God allowed us to be put in captivity (incarceration) that we may seek Him with a sincere heart, the God said He will be found by us, and He will bring us back to the place from which He (GOD) caused us to be carried away cap-tive. I didn’t say this...the word of God is speaking to us to change our ways and have a renewing heart in Christ. And God said He will “Bring Us Back, Better that we were before...AMEN!!! Have you ever experienced a time in your life when everything and everybody became overwhelming? No matter what you did or how you did it...it’s didn’t work! As soon as you receive a negative report, they instantly support the report instead of rebuking it. They attend church, sing in the choir, or is on the prayer team, but still think the worse in every situation. They appear one way, but when the report hits, their real “colors” are displayed. When you are on the brink of quitting, you must be careful who you allow to speak into your ears. Today, I have been called to minister to you...PRESS FORWARD!!! FORWARD...because you are the head and not the tail (Deut. 28:13). FORWARD...because you are more than a conqueror (Rom. 8:37) FORWARD...because you are an ambassador for Christ (2 Corn. 5:20). FORWARD...because all of your needs are supplied by God in Christ Jesus (Phil 4:19) FORWARD...because you are called for such a time as this. (Esther 4:14) FORWARD...because the end of a thing will be better than it’s beginning (Eccl. 7:8). Be aware that the Bible declares that there’s a specific season when all bad things will turn in your favor (Romans 8:28). I can’t tell when, but if you “PRESS FORWARD” I can tell you God will do it! God has given us a mission to use our voices to spread his words of what will happen when we stay strong in His promises by our faith! God answers prayers, just not always when we want Him to, but on His time. We are living testimonies. When I prayed and asked God to spare my life when I was about to be shot, I said: “God, please don’t let me die, don’t take me from my child” the bullet came a 1/4 inch from hitting my brain, but, it did nerve damage. I truly believe that God spared my life so that I could be like a guardian angel to others. Our lives can change in a split second. So let’s put an end to all the drama out there my brothers and sisters in Christ. Let’s show one another what real peace looks like. I’m waiting patiently for those doors to open into our future other than those bars of injustice that keeps us apart. All things are possible for those that keep faithful and stay prayed up!
