East Asia which is populated by a very peaceful and good
natured people. Tourism to Laos is a
rapidly growing business, especially for those looking to travel to a Country still off the beaten
track.Because of rapid tourism Laos sees
English as an important
language for it’s people to learn
Visiting Laos
Unlike most other South Asian
countries, Laos being a landlocked country does not have the beaches
that the other country offer. Make no mistake though. This does not make
Laos an uninteresting place to visit. In fact Laos is seeing one of the most rapid increase
in tourism in SE Asia
Teaching in Laos
As a member of the ASEAN group of nations, the Laos government and
peoples can see the importance of speaking and
understanding English. However it
is in the capital, Vientiane where you are likely to find the
best paid jobs although many
villages and towns outside the city will welcome volunteer
English tutors.

as a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA. However such is the demand for
English teachers this requirement
is often overlooked,
especially if you are a native
English speaker.
