Teach The SongAs always I suggest printing the visual aids on card stock and then laminating. This is

the best way to keep them to use in future singing times.

Decide how many of the verses you would like to teach. If you are teaching all 3 of the

verses on the same day you will use all of the visual aids. On the left side of the board

place the visual prompt in the correct order. Mixed up on the right side of the board or

around the primary room place the words. Let the kids take turns trying to match the

words to the right visual aid. The words are great for getting the older kids and teachers

to sing. The visual aids are perfect for prompting the younger kids. I also like using the

visual aids instead of the words because it causes the kids to listen and think about what

words go with which visual aid. My favorite way to start getting rid of the words is by

singing the song. Then I pick someone who is participating and singing reverently, I ask

them which words they would like to take down leaving only the visual aid. Continue

doing this until all of the words are gone!

Tell the kids you need their help answer a question. Ask the kids “Did Jesus Really Live

Again?” Most likely they will say yes. Ask them how they know this? After you have

given them a couple minutes to share ask them to look up Luke 24:36–43. Explain that

these scriptures help us know that Jesus Really did live again. Explain that today they

are going to learn a song that will help strengthen their testimony of this.

If you like to have flip charts for your songs this can be done by putting the words in

plastic sleeves in a binder. You could also easily make a flip chart just using the visual

aids.
