Wilson College Mission Statement Wilson College is an independent liberal arts institution founded in 1869. Wilson is dedicated to preparing women and men for successful careers through undergraduate, graduate and adult degree programs. Guided by the Honor Principle and distinguished by a commitment to transformative student growth, Wilson College prepares all of its graduates for fulfilling lives and professions, ethical leadership and humane stewardship of our communities and our world.

Department of Education Mission Statement

In keeping with the Wilson College mission as an independent liberal arts college, the Department of Teacher Education enhances those qualities that result from a liberal education by linking strong academic content with best educational theory, research, and practice. In preparing successful candidates for Pennsylvania PreK-12 certification, our Department of Teacher Education faculty not only builds close communities of students through collaborative learning in small classes but also builds partnerships with school communities through collegial dialogue, staff development opportunities, and interactive field experiences. We provide thorough, individualized advising to accommodate the diverse needs of students from the undergraduate College, Adult Degree Program and the Teacher Intern Program. The Teacher Education program serves as a resource for both the college community and the community at large to model innovative educational practices that result in the highest standards of teaching. (Approved by the Education Department, September 2013) Wilson College Course Catalog

Students in the Teacher Intern Program (TIP) are encouraged to read the Wilson College catalog. This catalog is found on the Wilson College TIP/EDU website (http://my.wilson.edu). A TIP student’s program is conducted through Wilson College policy from admission through College recommendation for certification. Wilson TIP students are to become familiar with and adhere to all policies and procedures. Students may access the course catalog to read course descriptions and to look for course prerequisites. TIP students must comply with college policy on prerequisites. For example, the prerequisite for MAT115, Introductory Statistics is MAT098 (or equivalent) or the math placement exam results.

Introduction Wilson College would like to provide you with the opportunity to join the exciting and challenging profession of teaching. If the joy of seeing young students learn and if the dynamics of the classroom challenge you, then teaching is a career that will provide you with the opportunity to touch the future. The Teacher Intern Program is designed to help persons holding the baccalaureate or an advanced degree to acquire the professional education preparation that is required for certification in the state of Pennsylvania. As a college graduate, you bring expertise in your field of concentration as well as experience in your field of endeavor. This provides an excellent framework for teacher preparation. Our students have the opportunity to become very successful teachers after completing the necessary certification requirements. Keep in mind that the certification program framework requires your effort in three areas: course work, state testing (PECT/PRAXIS), and the practice teaching component. Wilson College pledges to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to enter this vital field of endeavor with confidence. If you should have any questions throughout the program, please feel free to contact your advisor or current TIP Director, Mrs. Beth Byers. Education Department Teacher Intern Program 717-262-2009 Statement of Purpose

The purpose of the Teacher Intern Program is to enable the applicant for certification to achieve excellence in his/her demonstration of entry-level role competencies of the teaching profession. These will augment the in-depth knowledge and experience which have already been achieved in the baccalaureate program. The program aims to equip the student in the pedagogy of teaching as well as providing academic depth of knowledge in the area of concentration or in the liberal arts. This will enable the student to enter the classroom as a competent and effective teacher.

Program History

In 1985, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) approved the Wilson College Teacher Intern Program (TIP). Since that time, many qualified and successful teachers have received certification through this program. Wilson College offers the Traditional Post-Baccalaureate route to Pennsylvania Instructional I Certification: application, acceptance, student-specific program design, coursework, standardized testing and, lastly, student teaching -- round out this program, resulting in achievement of the state-issued certificate. Most students choose to take this route to achieve certification. Another alternate route may also be taken. Teacher Intern Programs and certificates have been a part of the Pennsylvania system since 1972. The concept of the intern certificate was developed to provide an alternate route to certification for an Instructional I Certificate. The Wilson TIP Program, in compliance with PDE guidelines, has incorporated this option into the program. The Intern student can begin his/her prescribed program of study once accepted but must pass standardized professional testing and secure professional paid employment to obtain the Intern Certificate. While employed the Intern student will receive continuous, long-term supervision while simultaneously taking the academic coursework required for the Instructional I certification. Areas of Certification

Wilson College is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education to offer certification in the following areas:

*Early Childhood Education (PreK-4)

*Early Childhood (PreK-4)/ Special Education (PreK-8) – dual certification

Program Regulations

Students must maintain at least the official entry-level grade point average requirement of 3.0 in academic and content courses, and must demonstrate continued progress based upon observation and evaluation. Grades of “B” or above are required in all education courses. Students in the education department may repeat education courses only one time (i.e., a course may be taken for credit a maximum of two times). This includes Pre-Practicum and student teaching/Intern Practicum. Note: Students are required to stay in continuous enrollment in courses when they hold the Intern Certificate. If progress is not satisfactory, or, if the intern's employment is terminated by the school prior to completion of all requirements, the intern may be disqualified from the program. If the professional semester is being fulfilled by a student teaching assignment the same standards of progress are required. If the internship or the student teaching experience is not satisfactory, the candidate will not be recommended for certification. Please understand that once you are provisionally accepted into the program, you are bound by the College rules and regulations (see College catalog). This means that if a student does not take any courses within a two year timeframe, “the student is automatically withdrawn from the College and will need to reapply in order to return.” Should you be required to reapply, you are bound by the current College and PDE requirements, which may not be the same as your “original” program. Official Acceptance

For official acceptance, student must earn a 3.0 GPA in the BIG 4 and have satisfactory Dispositions Forms.

• BIG 4 Courses: English Composition, Statistics, EDU 204 or EDU207 and EDU206.

• Dispositions Form

Each candidate must submit two forms. Forms will be completed according to course requirements. The instructors of the required Education courses will have access to the form and will complete it automatically. It is the student’s responsibility to give the third form to the instructor of her/his choice. The instructors will return their forms to the Education office address as noted at the bottom of the rating form. The Dispositions Form is posted under the FORMS button.

TIP:

Form completed by EDU 206 Instructor o If EDU 206 is not required, form will be completed by 204 or 207 Instructor

Form completed by EDU 215 Instructor The two forms will be completed as the courses are taken.

Once the forms are completed and submitted by the instructors to the Education Office, they will be reviewed by Mrs. Byers.

All students are expected to demonstrate the characteristics addressed on the Dispositions Form. These are valuable qualities to possess as a teacher and a professional. If there are any unsatisfactory areas, there will be a meeting with Mrs. Byers to discuss the area(s) of concern.

Non-credit Workshops

All PreK-4 and PreK-4/Sp.Ed. certification students will be required to participate in four special topics, non-credit workshops (Technology, Physical Education, Music, and Art). All secondary, middle level, middle level/Sp.Ed. and PreK-12 students will be required to take only the Technology workshop. Workshops are designed to promote the integration of art, music, technology and physical education into educational unit planning. Each workshop is held on a Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the Wilson College Campus. It is recommended that you do not take any workshop until you have completed EDU 206. These are pass/fail – no grade or credit will be on listed on transcripts, just the name of the workshop indicating that you have completed the requirement. Cost is $100 per workshop. Location and Time

The program is offered on the Wilson College Campus in Chambersburg. Currently, the courses are being taught on the Wilson College campus in Chambersburg. On occasion courses may be offered at various other sites within the Carlisle-to-Harrisburg area, based upon enrollment and geographical location of students. Courses can be cancelled due to low enrollment. In order to accommodate persons who work full-time, the courses for the Teacher Intern Program are offered in the evening. This makes it possible for persons to continue at their regular place of employment or to do intern teaching while completing the academic program. Some courses may be offered during the day on the Wilson College campus. Some courses are offered in a hybrid format – mixture of face-to-face classes and Moodle (online) classes. Many of the courses in the interdisciplinary course requirements are offered online.

Transfer Courses and Procedure

**All required professional education courses must be taken through Wilson College** Some candidates will need to take courses either in the liberal arts core or in the area of concentration. If Wilson College is not able to accommodate the needs of the student, the courses may be completed at accredited institutions, with College Academic permission. The student should observe the following procedures: 1. Obtain from the TIP website, a copy of the form, "TIP Off-Campus Approval Form." 2. Discuss your intention with your advisor. 3. Complete & sign the form 4. Submit via email form with a course description and rationale to your advisor who will consider

approval for the proposal. CC: Marian Strait and Beth Byers 5. Finally submit the completed form with all signatures to the Registrar for the Dean to approve. Do not register for the course until you receive the Dean’s approval. 6. At the conclusion of the course, it is the responsibility of the student to have an official transcript

sent from the other institution to the Education Office at Wilson College so that the course can be recorded for the purpose of certification. (A $110 per course transfer fee* must be paid to the Business Office/Students Accounts before the Registrar’s Office will record any TIP transfer

course.)

Note: Only grades of C or above will be accepted for academic credit.

As required non-education courses become on-line in format at Wilson College, TIP students will be required to complete through Wilson College, NOT off-campus. *Fee is subject to change.

Field Experience Requirements

An important part of the teacher preparation program is to provide students with educational experiences throughout their entire program. These field experiences are outlined by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) in order to provide students with progressive experiences in the classroom culminating with a full semester of student teaching. Each stage is briefly explained below. Stage 1: Observation

Completed in various classroom and community settings (i.e. tutoring, community organizations). This allows students to connect their theoretical course work in authentic settings through observation and reflection.

Stage 2: Exploration Students will begin to teach isolated lessons which apply their course work to the classroom.

Stage 3: Pre-Student Teaching

The semester prior to student teaching, students will be placed in a classroom for 15 days to participate in the daily activities that occur in a formal classroom. Alternative option: Complete150 hours as a Field Experience/Preservice Teaching Portfolio is an option.

Stage 4: Student Teaching (Practicum)

This is completed in the final semester and consists of 70 days in a classroom. During this time, students will gradually assume control of a classroom under the supervision of a Master teacher and Wilson faculty

In order to complete these hours, MANDATORY clearances and TB test are required. See page 25.

All professional education courses will require the students to complete hours of classroom observations. These observations are a very important part of the learning experience. Students are responsible to schedule these observations around their working schedules. In most cases the students will schedule their own observations in schools which are convenient to them. This covers the 40 hour minimum requirement of Stage 1 and 2 listed above. Please pay attention to Newsletter regarding deadlines of schools that Marian must contact.

If for any reason you are unable to be present at an appointment which you have made at a school or other educational facility for observations, tutoring or student teaching, be sure to phone the school and tell them of your upcoming absence. Do this before, not after, the appointed day and time.

It is expected that students will dress in an appropriate and professional manner when visiting in a school.

The Professional Semester: Student Teaching Practicum

The professional semester may be completed in one of two ways--either as a traditional student teacher or as an intern teacher. A traditional student teaching assignment is designed with a master teacher who remains in the classroom gradually giving more and more responsibility to the student teacher until the full responsibility for the classroom is assumed. Wilson College arranges the practicum, and the student teacher is not paid for the professional semester. A minimum of fourteen (14) weeks is required to complete the assignment. The student teacher or intern is expected to attend all teachers' meetings and in-service days and to comply with the school district's calendar. Those opting for the student teaching experience should enroll in EDU 431-37 and EDU 441-45: Student Teaching. An intern teacher is supervised for the minimum required period of at least one supervisory visit per month (9 visits per school year) during the time he/she is a fully paid professional employee of the school district. The intern will be supervised and instructed by a master teacher however, the master teacher will not be in the classroom on a continuous basis. The candidate who has been hired as an intern should enroll in EDU 428 & 429: Intern Teaching. The intern teacher is responsible for securing his/her own employment (see Intern Certification on page 22).

Page 22: TEACHER INTERN PROGRAM - my.wilson.edu Handbook 16... · STUDENT HANDBOOK 2016/2017 . ... and the practice teaching component. ... Experience/Preservice Teaching Portfolio is an option

19

Wilson College will employ a master teacher called a Cooperating Teacher who will supervise the practicum. The Cooperating Teacher becomes an adjunct of the Wilson faculty and will recommend the grades for the professional semester. A supervisor from Wilson College will supervise and assign the grades for the practicum. Included as part of the professional semester is the Special Needs Seminar, EDU 430 or SPE 430. This is a required online course taken while student/intern teaching. PLEASE NOTE: A student enrolled in the traditional practicum experience may NOT take additional courses during the professional semester, except EDU 430 or SPE 430. If a student would like to appeal this policy, then the student must submit a written appeal to his or her academic advisor. This appeal will be submitted to the Education Department for discussion and a decision. A student will be notified via email regarding the outcome.

Pre-Practicum/Practicum Experience for Dual or Sp. Ed. Certification Students

Pre-Practicum: Students pursuing a Dual or Sp.Ed. Certification, who choose the Pre-Practicum (SPE348), will have a 15 day Pre-Practicum Placement in a general education non-inclusive or inclusive classroom. As defined by PDE, “an inclusive setting is defined as an educational setting which includes children with and without special needs. An inclusive setting includes at least one child with and IFSP/IEP”(p. 35, PDE: Framework for Special Education Grades PreK-8 & 7-12 Program Guidelines).

Practicum: The Practicum (SPE436) placement(s) will be determined by whether the student chooses to complete inclusive or non- inclusive Pre-Practicum or the Field Experience Portfolio. A. Completed an inclusive Pre-Practicum

1. PreK-4 General Education Classroom/Special Education Classroom In this placement, the candidate will spend 35 days in a general education classroom and 35 days in the Special Education classroom.

OR 2. Full-time in Special Education: In this placement, the candidate will spend 70 days in a Special Education classroom. This could be a Learning Support, Emotional Support or Life Skills setting. Preference will be given to the candidate’s interest when possible.

B. Completed a non-inclusive Pre-Practicum

PreK-4 General Education Classroom/Special Education Classroom In this placement, the candidate will spend 35 days in a general education inclusive classroom and 35 days in the Special Education classroom.

C. Completed a Field Experience Portfolio

PreK-4 General Education Classroom/Special Education Classroom In this placement, the candidate will spend 35 days in a general education inclusive classroom and 35 days in the Special Education classroom.

The Advanced Practicum

Prerequisite is Pennsylvania Instructional I or II certification. In lieu of the above for eligible individuals, the Advanced Practicum is a period of guided teaching designed for experienced certified teachers who seek additional instructional certification. Duration and specifications depend upon previous teaching experience and areas of certification. The practicum is supervised by both a master teacher in an accredited public or private school and a college supervisor. Advisor approval required.

*Pre-Practicum and Practicum placements are within an approximate 80 mile radius

from Wilson College.*

Intern Certification

1. The student would complete all TIP application materials and interview. The applicant will

then be provisionally/officially accepted into the Wilson College Teacher Intern Program. Acceptance includes receiving, from the TIP Director, both a letter of acceptance and a copy of his/her personal program of study.

2. Candidates for Intern certification must schedule the tests specified by PDE for the desired area

of certification. The required tests must be completed at or above the required qualifying score.

3. When a student obtains a teaching position in a PDE approved school/classroom specific to the desired area of certification, the student may then apply for the Intern Certificate. The duration of the position will be at least one year (9 months). A student cannot apply for an Intern Certificate without securing a position.

4. The student then applies to Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) through the Teacher

Information Management System (TIMS) to receive the Intern Certificate. Wilson College will verify the application through TIMS. This certificate is valid for three years and cannot be renewed. The three-year effective span of this certificate begins upon the date issued by PDE. The Intern Certificate clarifies the holder as a “highly- qualified” professional and admits the intern to teaching in the public schools of Pennsylvania.

5. Simultaneously with this employment, the coursework prescribed by the TIP program is taken. Thus by the time the coursework is finished, the student has been “practicing” or developing his/her knowledge and skills in a classroom. During the first year spent in the employed-instructional setting, the student is clinically supervised (Practicum) for the minimum required period of at least one supervisory visit per month (9 visits per school year).

6. If the student decides not to accept employment nor use the Intern Certificate, the student will follow the traditional route in TIP and student teach.

REMINDER: Students applying for the Intern Certificate will have to satisfactorily PASS the following appropriate certification tests: 1) PECT (PreK-4 & dual certifications) 2) Fundamental Subjects: Content Knowledge (Spanish, Business & HPE) 3) Middle Level: Core Assessment (middle level & ML dual certification) 4) Specialty Area Test for each area of certification (secondary, PreK-12, dual certifications &

middle level)

Teacher Certification

Upon completion of the Teacher Intern Program requirements, and the successful completion of the Pennsylvania Teacher Certification Testing Program, a student qualifies for a teaching license called the Instructional I Certificate. This certificate is required of all entrants into the public school teaching profession in Pennsylvania. Holders of the Instructional I Certificate have six teaching years to complete the requirements for the Instructional II Certificate. The six-year effective span of this certificate begins at the date of first employment as a teacher. Requirements include the successful completion of a Department-approved Induction Program, three years of satisfactory teaching on the Instructional I Certificate, and the completion of 24 semester hours of collegiate study or in-service courses approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). The courses which have been taken in the Teacher Intern Program may satisfy the requirement of twenty-four (24) college credits. If you need to submit an official transcript to PDE, contact the Wilson College Registrar. Requests for the Instructional II Certificate should be made through the superintendent's office of the employment school district. Holders of the Instructional II Certificate will be required to follow a continuing-education plan of the Pennsylvania Department of Education*. * Apply for the Instructional I Certificate through the Teacher Information Management System (TIMS, www.pa-tims.com). ACT 48 and Continuing Professional Education for All Certificate Holders

On November 23, 1999, Governor Ridge signed Act 48 of 1999 enacting new requirements for professional education (formerly professional development) plans. The legislation also requires that all certified educators complete six college credits, six credits of continuing professional education courses, or 180 clock hours of continuing professional education. So, any combination of collegiate studies, continuing professional education courses or learning experiences equivalent to 180 hours every five years will fulfill this requirement. All credits and hours must be related to an educator's certification, professional education assignment or potential administrative certification. The professional education requirements took effect July 1, 2000, for all certified educators and support achievement of the Pennsylvania Academic Standards, the Chapter 49 Teacher Certification Standards, and high standards for all educators and students. The Act 48 timeframe begins as soon as you are approved for your Instructional I. Credits earned in the Teacher Intern Program will not count for Act 48, only the above 24 credits.

* Currently called the Act 48 Continuing Education Program, each district has its own plan and state requirements can change. Additionally, new legislation can affect educator preparation and certification policies and procedures. Therefore, for a complete and up-to-date description of these requirements, visit the PDE Home Page at www.pde.state.pa.us.

Course Enrollment

Students may enroll each semester through the Registrar’s Office either by mail, email ([email protected]) or by phone (717- 262-2007). A registration form can be found on-line at www.wilson.edu/registrar (TIP students do not need Advisor signature to submit form). Methods courses tend to fill quickly in the registration period; therefore, early registration is recommended. TIP CANNOT register online!

For TIP Master Education courses, student must submit a TIP M.Ed. Course Registration Form – located under the blue Forms button at http://my.wilson.edu. The form requires M.Ed. Director’s and Advisor’s signature. Financial Aid

Students who have already completed a Bachelor's degree are eligible for student loans only. Students who have applied and been accepted into Wilson's Teacher Intern Program may receive student loans. In order to qualify, students must (1) enroll in at least two full-credit courses per semester, (2) not have already exhausted undergraduate borrowing limits, (3) not be in default on any previously-borrowed student loans, and (4) meet U. S. citizenship guidelines. Through the Federal Stafford Loan Program (the loan option used most often), students may borrow up to a maximum amount per academic year of enrollment. Prior undergraduate borrowing and current enrollment costs will affect the amount borrowed each academic year. Students who are enrolled less than half-time will start repaying prior student loans. Students are not required to maintain at least half-time enrollment during the summer term; however, summer term loan assistance is available for those who qualify. Students who need more than the allotted amount may apply for credit-based alternative loans. Alternative Loan applications and information are available from the Financial Aid Office.

Students wishing to apply for loan assistance should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), Wilson’s Supplemental Form, a Stafford Loan Master Promissory Note (MPN) and Federal Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling (for first time borrowers). Please allow six to eight weeks for processing time. Application materials are available from the Office of Financial Aid, (717) 262-2016 or contact [email protected] for more information. The College also offers a monthly payment plan for students. Please contact the Business Office at (717) 262-2017 for information.

Course Withdrawal Procedures

Students may withdraw from a course in-person or by written notice. Approval by the advisor and the instructor is required and the request must be submitted to the Registrar's Office. No entry shall be made on the permanent record if the request is submitted no later than the date published in the academic calendar. For later withdrawals, the instructor shall designate W or WF. Students who withdraw unofficially will be assigned a grade of F. Please see College Catalog for withdrawal and refund policy.

Academic Information

These excerpts from the Wilson College Academic Regulations apply to students in the Teacher Intern Program. "Honesty in Academic Work: Each student is expected to act maturely and honestly in all academic work. The student shall neither give nor receive unauthorized aid in academic work. In order to answer questions a student may have concerning an examination, the instructor shall be present in the classroom at the time of the examination. Dishonesty, including plagiarism, ("The act of plagiarizing or appropriating the ideas, writings, or inventions of another without due acknowledgement; specifically the stealing of passages either word for word or in substance from the writings of another and publishing [submitting] them as one's own.") in daily work, papers, and examinations shall be reported by the instructor to the Dean of the College, who shall report to the Committee on Academic Procedure. The Committee on Academic Procedure shall determine if the student is guilty of dishonesty in academic work. The student guilty of dishonesty in academic work shall be liable to loss of credit in the course concerned, to dismissal from the College, or both. Upon such determination, the Committee on Academic Procedure shall recommend action to the Instructor and/or the President as appropriate. Every student has the right to appeal to a board consisting of three peers and two faculty, all of whom are to be appointed by the Dean."

Responsibilities of Students

Each student is responsible for attending class, for assuming responsibility in all required meetings of courses, and for making whatever arrangements are possible for work missed. Each instructor may establish special attendance policies that are essential because of the nature of the course. In the case of medical absence or for similarly unavoidable reasons, an instructor is expected to provide assistance in making up the work if requested by the student.

A member of the faculty may designate in advance certain important class meetings at which attendance is required. Announcement of such requirements shall be made at least one week in advance. Students should not expect to receive permission for exceptions to this regulation.

If a student fails to complete course work by the end of the term, the instructor, after consulting with the Dean of the College, may record a grade of Incomplete in the course. A letter indicating the student received an Incomplete and the policy for completion shall be sent to the student. The work for the course must be completed within three weeks.

26

Academic Advising and Communication

Basic to the success of a student’s certification program of study is being correct and current with all relevant information. Correct coursework, the testing program, and the student/intern teaching semester must be monitored on a continuous basis. Therefore, continuing communication with one’s advisor from provisional acceptance through program completion is the responsibility of the student.

Know your advisor well. Know office hours, phone number, and e-mail address. Very importantly, the Education Department’s Newsletter is sent every two weeks to all currently-enrolled students. It is also posted on the TIP/EDU website, http://my.wilson.edu. It has been designed to keep you “up-to-the-minute” on announcements, deadlines, etc. It is your responsibility to use this resource on a continuous basis. Should you have any questions pertaining to content in the Newsletter, please consult with your academic advisor to immediately address any advising issues. Constant communication with your advisor is imperative.

Students are expected to check their Wilson College e-mail daily. E-mail is the main mode of communication that is used to contact students. Since the program serves students within an 80-mile radius, instructors may decide to cancel classes or to put classes online due to inclement weather. In the past, students have driven to campus to discover that class had been cancelled because they neglected to check their e-mail. Wilson email will be assigned once you enroll in your first Wilson course.

Education Department TIP Advisors: A to C & Dual Certification: Dr. Theresa Hoover, [email protected] D to M: Dr. Kathleen Kaminski, [email protected] N to Z: Mrs. Beth Byers, [email protected]

Clearances All students must apply for the following clearances as early as possible in the program: Act 34: PA Criminal History, Act 114: FBI, Act 151: Child Abuse, Act 24: Arrest & Conviction Report and a negative tuberculosis (TB) test. All forms and links can be found on the TIP/EDU webpage, http://my.wilson.edu. Click the blue Forms button. Clearances cannot be older than 1 year from entrance date to Wilson College and Act 34, 151 and 114 must be renewed annually. Must complete clearances immediately after enrolling in first Education course. Most districts now require these clearances for anyone who is visiting their schools. This means that current clearances are required in order for students to complete the required observations and

field experiences in these schools for Wilson’s education courses. To ensure that Wilson College and the Education Department is in compliance with school districts, Pennsylvania Department of Education requirements and Act 153, you will be required to have current clearances in order for observation assignments in all education courses. Keep the originals for your records. Never send the original copies to anyone. When you do receive your clearance forms, send a photocopy to the Education Department to put into your file. For the FBI clearance, the Education Department needs your registration number (PAE#) to access your
