There are no SNOBS at STAF! At least, not in the sense you might think. Let me explain: In the mid-1600s, Oxford and Cambridge Universities opened enrollment to everyone, not just nobility could now get an advanced education. However, the so-called “commoners” had their names listed on the school roll with the Latin inscription, Sine Nobilitate, or, Without Nobility, written next to it. Over time, this term was abbreviated to S. Nob., which as you can see, has had lasting implications on society. But here at STAF, we’re all of nobility—because of Jesus. See, no S.Nobs. here! If your last name starts with A-J: bring prepared fruit trays; K-R bring muffins, bagels or pastries, cut & ready to serve; S-Z bring toppings like butter, jam, cream cheese, etc. We will meet again in the multipurpose room. Please park on far side of Gym or D Street. Leave the parking lot otherwise for Diaspora Church members who will continue to arrive after we’ve started.

GAMBIA MISSION TRIP Pastor Del is invited to again bring the Gospel to a country where he first brought the message decades ago. Support his spring trip by marking a tithe envelope “Gambia.” Remember mission trips is one of our goals (see back panel.) He needs full funding by the end of this month.
