All proceeds from the annual Team Borsheim celebrity golf tournament benefit the
team Borsheim recovery fund. Please join Les and join Team Borsheim by taking part in this year’s benefit golf tournament to be held on Friday, August 24th at Pelican Lakes Golf & Country Club in Windsor. The tournament will be a scramble format with a 1 p.m. shotgun start and will include the fun & entertainment the fans have come to love and expect, as well as a silent auction featuring several fantastic items and a post-tournament banquet & prize ceremony.

This helps Les pay for his specialized physical therapy at SCI Recovery Project in Denver. Les attends his physical therapy 3 times a week, which allows him to continue to take those small steps in his recovery. Since being paralyzed in 2008 in a motorcycle accident, the former Colorado Eagles player has shown the same strength and determination that made him a fan favorite on the ice. He has battled back and worked hard at SCI recovery project to regain movement and function that allows him the independence to live his life to the fullest.
Borsheim continues to be a positive presence for both the Eagles and the Northern Colorado community. Les is the color man on the radio for the Eagles and frequently talks at area schools about perseverance, adversity and the power of a positive attitude.
