TEAM MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
What Do I Do?
Thank you for volunteering to support your child's team
as a Team Manager. Your assistance is greatly
appreciated so your Team Coach is able to focus on
the kids. Your main role is to serve as a Manager
liaison and facilitator of the league activities. Your role
is important and SMYS couldn't do it without you!
Alone we can do so little. Together we can do so much.

TEAM VOLUNTEERS
Field Set-up/Teardown• This is a critical part of the function of game day. When we have
a volunteer field crew, they help to ensure fun and safe playing environment by focusing on the equipment for the kids. If we do not have field crew volunteers, it will be the responsibility of teams that start and end the day to take on tasks of field setup and tear down.
• In addition to field safety, they also deliver the goals, nets and corner flags to their assigned fields as well as returning them to the storage area. It is the responsibility of the teams to put the nets on the goals before the first game of the day, and to remove the nets after the last game of the day.
